Last One Standing...

Well, I apologize about the missing blog last week. Our internet was down for four whole days last week. I thought I was going to die. :) And besides that...it has been a very crazy busy two weeks for me. But, we made it...and here is our blog post...finally!

So with that, I begin by saying, "Happy Mother's Day!!" I could do an entire post on the reasons I love being a mom, and the reasons Craig and I are SO lucky to have the moms that we do!

I am truly grateful for these four loves of my life. There are so many days I say, "I can't do this"...but I always do...and it is worth every single second. There is nothing in the entire world that I would rather be than the mommy of Paisley, Hudson, Madden and Everleigh. Of all things I've done, or any future endeavours, my children are the accomplishments for which I am the most proud.

...and I couldn't do it without my mom!

(And yes, I do know that she looks more like my sister than my mom! )

We spend this b-e-a-u-tiful day outside. We played, ran races (I lost every time. You'd think somebody would have let me win once, since it was mothers day and all...), and visited with family. It was perfect.

Somebody is standing on her own now!! She's so close to walking!

Saturday was a big day in our household. It was the Danz Kraze spring show!! It's no secret that I LOVE DANCE. Love it. I tell myself that I'll be okay if my girls choose not to dance, but that's a total lie. And so far, we're okay, Paisley loves it. And my niece, Makyah does too! She's in third grade, and is so fun to watch! Here she is doing her funk routine...

This year, Paisley was in a few "short sessions"--- so she isn't in dance all year long. She's the youngest in Danz Kraze... and we were all so excited to see her perform. After a couple of meltdowns about tying up her way-to-big-for-her shirt (which she never did do)...she performed in front of hundreds of people!

(she's way on the right)

And then...her team hit their final pose. Paisley was so proud. And we were too.

...........and then........all of the little girls ran off of the floor. Well............all but one.....

My little dancer stood there and shook those poms with the biggest smile. And she stood there, and she stood there.....and we cheered, and the crowd cheered louder and louder! It was the cutest. thing. ever. After what seemed like an eternity (to her mom, crying and laughing in the stands)...she finally realized....and headed off the floor.

Some day, when I have enough time, I'll upload the video to this blog. It's worth it. Oh, Miss P. Life wouldn't be the same without you. I know that you'll never get lost in the shuffle of four kids, that's for sure! :)

Paisley and her good friend, Lydia!

So proud of her flowers...

The events from earlier in the week included us getting ready for a thrift sale...then having the sale....and me getting through finals...but we did get some play time in too!

She just walks up and down, up and down.

Most days, the middle school marching band practices on our street. This week, the band director even stopped and offered Paisley to play drums with the band! She declined...shoot. But when the kids are home with us (or grandma)...they run right out to watch the band! And then...for the rest of the day we get, "More band! More band!!"

Hudson has become slightly really obsessed with his monchichi. It's all he talks about, and he goes every where with us!

The kids (and I) have been incredibly lucky to have the best day care provider, ever. I never ever worry about my children while they are there. They always have fun and are loved up lots. Londa, our daycare provider technically only does care for teachers. So...we've always had to find other sitters for the summer break. But this year, day care ended this Friday... a little earlier than usual. Londa was diagnosed with optical melanoma, and is undergoing surgery tomorrow. We are encouraged by the prognosis and hopeful that all goes well with surgery and treatments this whole week. We have been saying lots of extra prayers, and know that we're going to have our Londa back in the fall, ready to go! :)

Paisley also had to say goodbye to her two besties at day care--- Kate and Bobby will be heading to Kindergarten in the fall (not at the same school that Miss P will attend)...and she's going to miss them so much!

We love you, Londa! XOXO

Thanks for checking in...
