Sometimes I like to pretend I'm good at multi-tasking. Last night, I wasn't. Therefore, we have a Monday blog instead. It's okay, right?!
This week we went to the first "Sounds Like Summer Concert Series". How can you not have a great time listening to music, with your friends, with a few drinks?! Whenever I think about moving out of this town...it's nights like these with our friends and good local entertainment that I realize how lucky we are.
Madden and Everleigh showed no hesitation in heading out to dance and run/crawl around. It took Paisley and Hudson a while to warm up...
(Madden, Hudson, Carter, Reese and Ever)
(Miss P and Mad Mike)
And this portion of the post wouldn't be complete without a classic engagement photo of Mr and Mr Lunde-Berg.
Let me just reiterate. I love summer.
We knew this would happen sooner or later. And it's really not surprising who did it first. Poor thing. I wasn't home...but being the good Daddy Craig is, he obviously ran to get the camera before helping Hudders out!
But don't worry...the boys got Craig back...
Every game... every single piece...out.
(I love this, because I can just hear Paisley scolding the twins. Look at her hands on her hips. Classic!)
Saturday, Paisley got to ride in a parade with her Grandpa and cousins! She threw out candy (and ate a few pieces too!)...but the best part...afterwards, she went back to Makyah and Cambree's house to go boating, swimming and.......to have her first (non-grandma) sleepover!!
She has been asking for this for SO long! We tried it when she was about 2 1/2, but it ended in a late night phone call and a Grandma to the rescue. But this time...no calls...heh, she probably didn't even miss us! She said her favorite part was making duct tape crafts. I said, "Your auntie Melissa is sure creative!" and Paisley said, "yah, and really nice too!" :)
This is what else we've been up to....
dance parties
races
swimming
breaking up fights
getting haircuts
visits with grandma and grandpa
getting molars (YUCK)
going to grad parties
refusing to clean up toys
getting toys put in the basement because of the above mentioned
cheering for walking across the living room
Sunday is coming too fast for this mama. My Everleigh is not so little anymore. Not at all. In fact, she and the twins can wear the same size diapers and clothes!!
Between the fights, we do have some lovin'...
Always, always, always practicing her dance moves...
I cringe anytime I see the kids playing in their sand table. It's just not one ounce of fun to get sand out of their hair. After I snapped this picture of Hudson standing in the table and Madden dumping sand in Everleigh's hair....they all went in the bath.
Look at these cute little butters...
Next week, is Everleigh's week. I'm going to be a wreck. The thought of looking through old photos to write her "I'm One!" post is already making me cry. SIGH.
Until then...enjoy your week!
