Kites Equal...

This week flew by. Craig was gone for three days for a work training, so just getting through the days and nights took up our time. I didn't take any photos during the week, but I did get a few this weekend. Yay for me.

Madden was ready to try to ride his bike without training wheels. He did really well! He's got a little way to go, but I think if he's willing to keep trying he could be ready by the end of the summer. It's always so hard for kids to keep pedaling when they're learning. I swear, as Craig runs with the kids I just yell, "Keep pedaling!!!" Luckily for you, you get photos, not a video.

Don't mind the pink helmet. Apparently the twin's heads grew over the winter! They need new ones.

Hudson did not want to try. Until he heard that Madden was getting a sucker for trying. Hudson gave it about 5 squares on the sidewalk and called it a day. This one....he's definitely not our risk taker.

And she....she is just silly.

Spring equals kites! Kites equal fun frustrated parents, trying to get several kites in the air and keep them untangled. And maybe one irritated husband--because his wife was taking pictures, not helping.

When you get bored, just throw some grass. Equally as entertaining.

Today we went to the Lokken's house to cheer on those running the marathon. I'm in awe of those who can run that far. I'm actually in awe of those who can run, period. That crap is hard. So if you're reading, and you ran the full or half, congrats!! (Haley, Heidi, Heather, Amy, Al, Matt...)
I'm gonna guess I had more fun sipping coffee, jamming to music, eating banana muffins and giving you high fives. But let's be honest. You rock.

(I have no clue who this guy is, but he was excited to be in the picture, so why not!)

Thanks for checking in. Have a great week!
