I love Marley. About 5 minutes after this picture was taken I fell fast asleep. (I have my coat on because we were at the Tanger Outlet Mall, and it was freezing out as soon as you left a store!)

Well, I am back from my mini vacay to the Dells! Can you say FUN?!?! On Thursday, we all piled in the Lokken's van and headed to the Kalahari! Daddy and Uncle Cal rode in the front, mommy and I in the middle and Auntie Melissa, Kyah and Cams in the back. Cams and Kyah fell asleep on the way there, but I didn't give in until we were about 30 minutes from our hotel! I LOVED swimming!!! My mom and dad even took me on water slides!! They were really fast and I didn't much like it when it was dark in the tubes. I splashed and splashed! It was so annoying to hear my mom say every five seconds, "oh I wish I had my camera"--so please, be happy with the pictures you saw!! We spent lots of time on the lazy river, it was my dad's favorite. I thought it was okay. A little too cold for me, especially when we would go under little water falls and get soaking wet! But I did get to go in the hot tub....ooooh I wish I could soak in that all day! My favorite thing were the little spouts of water in the shallow end of the pool. I would crawl and get those things, one after the other. It did kinda hurt my knees though! After two days of fun at the Kalahari, I was pooped! That might also be because I didn't nap....and didn't sleep at night. It was my first stay in a hotel and I just didn't understand why Oscar wasn't with us. I woke up several times, and when mom and dad let me in bed with them...I called and called (and called!!) for Oscar, but he was no where to be found! (I also did a lot of crying and banging on the headboard; I'm sure the people next door loved me! I ended up back in my pack n play for some reason?!) We ended up going shopping before we left the Dells, and I got to go to "Build a Bear"!! I didn't build a bear though, I built my very own monkey!! We call her Marley. (I guess that is what daddy has always wanted to name his daughter, so this was second best). I even got her a ballet outfit!! She's the best! Overall, I had a wonderful first vacation!

This weekend I also got to see more family, because we celebrated my cousin, Makyah's 6th Birthday! So happy Birthday to Kyah on the 18th!

I also wanted to let you know that I am really good at walking now!! I don't run quite as much, but sometimes I do, just because it's faster!! I walked the length of my basement, about 20 steps or so---and I really can walk wherever. I even stood up from sitting and took off!! Although, I still prefer crawling as my main method of destroying the house...for now at least! And...I fear I have only a week or so left of my bottle!! I have been drinking some whole milk in my sippy and bottles (well, I am down to one a day...before bed), but my mom says bottles are gone at 1 when I get all milkies, and nuks are gone at 18 months. And so remind me again about what is so great about turning a year?!

This week I will be having my first party.....at Londa's!! I'm not sure what I am bringing for a treat yet. I sure hope my mom lets me eat whatever it is...sometimes she is a stick in the mud about me eating yummy foods!!

Also, special prayers for my great grandma Evie too, please...she broke her hip, but I got to see her in the hospital and she looked great. I hope she will be able to come home soon!
