We had another nice week with the kiddos. So, Mr. Madden has been getting better!! We've had a few days where he has had 10-20 minutes of awake- non crying time!! I think the chiropractor is helping!! He's also only been taking about 30 minutes to put back to bed at night, as opposed to 60-90 minutes! Maybe he's starting to get the whole "night time" thing! Madden is also smiling a lot and cooing too! On to Hudson, or H Bomb as we like to call him. Hudson has been a bit more fussy this week. Maybe he wants the attention now?? He's still a really good, and calm baby though. He's been smiling and cooing lots too! Both Madden and Hudson weigh just over 10 pounds!! Our little guys aren't so little anymore! And big sis, Miss P. Her expressions just kill me. She's so dramatic about everything! hmmm....no idea where that comes from?!?! Obviously my attention can't just be on Paisley anymore, so often this is what you'll hear her say, "mommy, mommy, mommy...BROOKY!!!" In fact, sometimes she just flat out calls me Brooky, and not mommy! Isn't this supposed to happen at like 15, not 2?!?!!?!? She is a total little helper...but also asks to be rocked, fed and burped lately too.
Here are my boys at 7 weeks. I think they look alike here...I mean, you can obviously tell them apart...but...yet they look alike too. Madden is really losing his hair, and Hudson's looks really red in the light.
Craig was ordered in one light last week, which means he had to leave for work at 1:30am. So, grandma Brenda came to stay the night!! Thanks gram!!
So, as many of you know...kids have always been a big part of my life. When I was 14, I started babysitting for the Ellison family....and they are such a big part of my life. Now....the kids are almost 8, 10, 15 and 21!!! (I am old!!) Anyway, Zach, the oldest now lives in Portland, and was back to visit, so the whole crew got together. I love these kids....and now my "babies" are holding MY babies, oh man!
With the nice weather, the kids and I had a picnic!! We spent lots of time outside...ahhh...so nice!
Smiles from Madden.....
Smiles from Madden.....
And....our visit with the Easter bunny!! (and no, we don't dress our daughter like a hoochy-mama...her dress is just riding up! :) )
After seeing the Easter bunny, all the grandparents came to help Paisley color Easter eggs! Then G&G Berg (pictured below) watched all 3 kids while Craig and I went to Target to do some shopping. This was our first time leaving the boys!!! Wow was it nice to get a break!! We were only gone for a little over 2 hours, because I had to get back to feed the boys, but we needed the break!
And....Easter morning...Paisley found her basket under the desk! It had candy (duh), sunglasses, chapstick (or makeup as she calls it), a kite, flip flops, a flashlight, bubbles.....and hidden around the house she also found... a barbie, baseball glove and ball, and...a picnic table!!!! She also found the boy's baskets, which had toys and nuks in them! :)
