Silly Kids

This week, Craig and I were both really busy. We each spent some very long hours working, so didn't see much of each other. We spent lots of alone time with the kiddos. Other than that...there isn't too much new to report on...Paisley had a play date at Makyah and Cambree's house and also did some shopping with Grandma Brenda---and the kids had dinner with Grandma Bonnie and Daddy one night...but that's about it. SO...here are some pictures from the week...

(Check it out-- standing on one leg with a spoon on her nose. She's ready for the circus!)

AND...I love this. So, over all, Hudson is really laid back, and Madden...is definitely not!! So Madden thinks he's going to get away with bullying his older (by 7 minutes) brother!! He pulled on his shirt, ate his hands, ate his head, tugged on his bib.

....Then Hudson finally had enough of Madden.....

...So he knocked him over and said, "THERE."

Friday night, "a few" of us girls got together for dinner at a delicious restaurant...and then out for drinks and dancing. No, I did not hurt myself...thank goodness. However, I did have a wonderful night out with the ladies. We very well may have been too old to be in the bars that we were in...but it's fine...I'm pretty sure we can still dance like we did when we were 21. Yah, I'm just going to tell myself that, okay?!
HUDSON--
Favorite foods: Anything we've given him!! He screams when it doesn't come fast enough! It's about the only time Hudson is more upset than Madden at any given time.
Learning to: Drink from a sippy, roll over, feed himself, bear more weight on his legs.
Silly things: Hudson loves to be ticked in the neck and blow bubbles.
Sleep: He takes 3 naps and then goes to sleep around 7:30/8:00, then gets up to eat around 5:00, then back to bed until 7:00/8:00.

PAISLEY--
Favorite Foods: Cottage Cheese, Fruit Snacks, Flavored Water (she's obsessed!), Pears, Apples, Mac n Cheese, Black Olives and Cheese.
Learning to: Count past 10, write more letters in her name, talk in a quiet voice, not interrupt, tell stories that have a beginning-middle and end and ride her bike.
Silly Things: What isn't silly about Miss P? She pretends she is sleeping (and does it with a smile on her face) when we get her out of the car, makes funny faces, pretends macaroni noodles are telephones and has an imaginary friend "baby Cal" who sometimes lives in her belly and sometimes is where ever I need to set something down!! She is also obsessed with thinking her middle name is Koehler. Today I said, "Let's hit the road, Jack" and she said, "My not Jack!! My Paisley Koehler Berg!!" (She said the same thing to Craig earlier when he said, "ready freddy?" )
Sleep: Paisley takes one nap per day, goes to sleep about 8:00 and wakes around 7:00.

MADDEN--
Favorite Foods: So far, he likes all of the fruits (except apples) and veggies we've given him. He loves watermelon too.
Learning to: Drink from a sippy cup, feed himself, hold his own bottle and roll from belly to back.
Silly Things: Madden throws himself all over the place, he attacks your face with a wide open mouth and loves to screech when laughing.
Sleep: Madden takes 3 naps per day, goes to bed around 7:30/8:00, gets up around 5:00 to eat, and then goes back to bed until about 7:30. He also gets up several times during the night, but goes back down if you give him his nuk.
And, all of the kiddos!

In other news.... The Berg's would like to Congratulate Andy and Tiffany as they welcomed Gibson Edward this week! We are anxious to meet him!
AND... yesterday, I finished my last two graduate classes....YESSSS! Now, all I have left is my Thesis. I will give myself about 3 weeks to do NO homework after the kiddos go to bed and I am looking so forward to that! Then...I have to begin my research. I really want to be done in December!
Thanks for checking in with us again this week!
The boys will be 6 months on Thursday...simply unreal!
Love,
Brook, Craig, Paisley, Hudson & Madden
