H & M turn 5

 

 The twins are five. I wish I had 17 hours to just go back and look at pictures and videos of them. Someday, I will do that. For now, a brief stroll through memory lane will have to do.

Big sister wasn't too happy. But then again, when was she? :) The boys were born 7 minutes apart, and Hudson is just now using that to his advantage.

 

I miss this so much. Not so much the duel screams, but the tiny, cute twins in matching outfits (without characters on them).

 

 

 

 

 

Love these two more than they will ever know!

 

Hudson Loves:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, strawberries, watching you tube clips of people explaining their TMNT, Monchichi, the science area at school, swinging, couscous, tatortot hotdish, reading.

 

Hudson :

is incredibly loud, the best at laughing, so sweet, super slow(!!), cautious, happy, gives amazing hugs, is a leader at school, is very indecisive, uses a big vocabulary and often says phrases like, "more or less" and "absolutely ridiculous"

 

I hope Hudson never loses:

His big belly laugh, his love for his brother, the huge expressions on his face while talking and the love he has for his mama and dada. (and yes, that's what he calls us...still) 

 

Madden loves:

Puzzles, milk, coloring, any type of digital media--mostly Nintendo DS and Disney Infinity, the art area at school, riding bike, reading, villains, spaghetti, wearing just one sock, swimming.

 

Madden:

is obsessed with Grandma Brenda, makes friends easily, is scared of heights, is usually happy, tickles Hudson a lot, gets up super early, watches tutorials on video games, has a gift with puzzles and makes it clear when "our jam" is on the radio.

 

I hope Madden never loses:

His sense of individuality, his love for Hudson, his creativity or his helpful attitude.

 

Opening gifts on their birthday--and at their party.

 

It was time to blow out their candles. Madden took a big whiff and blew them out. Hudson closed his eyes to make a wish.

And sat there. And sat there. And sat there.

Hmmm. And sat there some more. What should I wish for?

(Good Lord, just blow out the damn candles, is actually what we were all thinking!)

Finally, he blew them out. I sure hope his wish comes true.
