We are family... (you sang that, didn't you?)

Our house is always a circus. But this week, Paisley and I went to watch puppets at the circus! She is at the perfect age for a puppet show and was in awe that she got to hug the puppets afterwards!

Whenever it's nice out, we head out to play! The kids got some new bubbles. After approximately 1 minute, Madden had dumped his bottle out. A few seconds later, he took the liberty of also dumping Hudson's out. Stinker.
Hudson tries so hard--and about 1 out of every 20 results in an actual bubble.

And Miss P just looks so old. She's so grown up. And a perfect bubble blower at that.

And Madden....he sucked on the bubble wand and dumped out the bubbles. Which is totally him.

Not so little Evers just walked around....

...crawled in the rocks and tried to eat them.

What else is new with us, you ask? Not too much, really. Paisley and her imagination play all day. She is spelling words, trying to carry Everleigh and begging for play dates. Hudson is busy playing with trains, putting makeup on people or playing ball. Madden is happiest watching tv and drawing "bell" (still from that stupid Elmo Bell movie, which by the way has been MIA for several weeks now. And yes, he's asked for it every single day!) and Everleigh is crabby when we're not holding her, and is blowing me away with her words, "uh oh", "hi", "all done", "mama", "dada"! :)

Today, Paisley flew her kite! It was the perfect day for it! She ran, and smiled, and was so proud!

Hudson ran and smiled too...

And Madden did a lot of rolling around. Crazy kid.

When it was time to walk home, Paisley was too tired because she had just taken a lap around the track in her dress and fancy flip flops without once stopping....so Hudders pulled them home. Well....maybe not alllll the way home. :)

And then home for supper and baths!! And look who might pass who up soon! At Everleigh's last appointment she was just 6 pounds lighter than Madden! Of course, Madden is a tiny little thing....we bought 18 month shorts for the boys for this summer! We also bought Everleigh 12 and 18 month outfits for this summer. :)

Saturday night, Craig and I went to a local fundraiser. Yup. We got a babysitter, and went out. The great thing...is that our kids were just as excited as we were for a night away! They were bouncing off the walls with excitement when we left! With our crazy work schedules and babbling kids, food to make, baths to give and toys to pick up--- there are sometimes days that go by and we haven't had a real conversation. Really! So it was super nice to talk with one another and just get out, together!

AND....the most super duper exciting news in a long long time... is that my very best friend in the whole wide world welcomed Miss Elliot Isabelle into the world on April 9. Right on time. She's my kinda girl! I was able to be there just as Elliot made her appearance and couldn't get enough snuggle time with her. Congratulations, Amy & Matt!! Love you all!!!
