Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming

Everleigh had her one year check up! She weighs 19 pounds (23 percentile) and is 28.7 inches long/tall (34 percentile). We had a concern about a lump that has formed on Ever's head...the doctor thinks that it's likely a gland, but we are keeping an eye on it. Otherwise, developmentally, baby girl is all good!

This week, Paisley, Hudson and Madden started swimming lessons. Paisley loves every second of it. She waits on the bleachers while Craig and I swim with the twins--and even though she loves to swim, she stands on the sideline teaching the other kids dance moves! We could see her doing some "X" jumps and telling some random little girl to "Do a high V!"

Hudson likes to swim. He's a little more cautious about doing new things, but typically listens to what the teacher tells us to do. Madden....umm, he's fearless, sticks his head all the way under...but only wants to do his own thing...NOT what the teacher wants him to do. If only the pool wasn't ice cold. We (all) shiver the whole time! All three kids have lessons through this next week.

We got a bit of baby Elliot time!!

And, Craig and I got out for the night (thank you Grandma Bonnie for watching the kids!) to attend our friends, Alyssa and Jesse's wedding. (a pic of the couple on my 365 blog )

Today we went on a train ride and to a fun frozen yogurt shop. Then I took the littles home for naps, and Craig and Paisley went to Lokkens for some boating, tubing and sliding fun!

This week, Madden also had his final evaluation for speech, and he did qualify. So, now we will have speech therapy once a week for Mad Mike too! He's leaving off the end of a lot of his words, and is really only putting two words (once and a while three) to form a sentence. I wasn't sure if he would qualify, because I am trying so hard not to compare H&M because Hudson talks and talk and never shu....he just talks a lot. :) But, I'm glad he is getting some services early, so hopefully he can be back on track in no time!

We are looking forward to this week! The 4th, celebrating birthdays, sun, and a little extra time off! Thanks for checking in!
