P-L-A-Y

Paisley is learning to ride with no training wheels. She's...let's say...uh...trying really hard?? The poor thing will not, for the life of her, continue to pedalwhen I let go. I'm pretty sure she won't be 15 riding with training wheels...so I'm sure she'll get it. But not so sure if it will be this year!

I've been trying to branch out in the meals I cook. Once this week we had 'taco soup'. Here's what Ev had to say about it...

And in true H&M fashion...

They saw the pledge, and got to dusting. AHEM. (I guess even the light bulbs had a bit of dust)

And Miss P practiced her vacuuming skillzzz

Everleigh Calla had her 15 mo appointment (late. Her regular pediatrician no longer works at our hospital. :( So we had to see someone new. And next time, we'll see someone new again. Enough said.)

Everleigh weighs 21.3 pounds (22nd percentile) and is 29.72 inches tall (27th percentile).

Ever can run, walk backwards, scribble, use a fork and spoon, point to and say 4 body parts, climb, and can really communicate her needs/wants to us. She is saying about 40-50 words and is combining them too. Some of her favorite things to say are:
No
Hi, Mama or Hi, Dada
Bless You
All better
No
Madden
Yah
My blanky
Elmo
All done
One more applesauce
I don't know
No

She is such a happy baby, and is learning so much every day. She copies anything and everything (crap!) that her brothers and sister do. She still loves to snuggle and always lays her head on our lap or shoulder. She's also starting to throw some tantrums, which why not...it's not loud enough in this house, right?!

This week, Paisley had a couple of firsts. Her first field trip (to the apple orchard) and her first time on a school bus. She was really excited, and still doesn't talk much about the actual field trip, but rather the fact that she didn't wear a seat belt on the bus and that someone got stung by a bee. I had to teach a class at the same time as the class trip, so Grandma Brenda stepped in to be a chaperone! We sure love Gram! See the 365 for a cute pic of the two of them.

We've been playing with trucks and planes and puzzles and legos a lot lately.

This weekend, it was 6 against 3. Amy, Elliot, Tiff and Gibson came to play! Everleigh (and Madden) gave Elliot lots of kisses!

Feeding time. This makes me laugh. And don't worry, we didn't leave E alone like that on the table!! Pizza faces!!

Love her. More than she'll ever really know.

Well...that's a wrap for tonight.
Love,
Brook & Fam
