Their class sang a few songs. Paisley was the L in Light.
And then she got her 4K diploma.
They did a slide show of lots of pictures from throughout the year. They also put this in the slide show.
Yep. Miss P still wants to be a flag girl. Like the girl who twirls the flags in the marching band. That kind. We have been talking about how that's really not an actual job, per se. So she's now decided she wants to be a flag girl AND a fashion designer.
This next photo cracks me up. We didn't even tell them to pose-- we turned around and they were like this. Madden sure looks enthused.
So we tried to add Everleigh to the mix. She was too busy talking on the phone to actually get in the picture. Priorities.
And so, the future class of 2026 graduates 4K. It was an amazing year. I couldn't have asked for better teachers. I cry when I think about how wonderful they were to Paisley, and how much fun she had over the year. Miss Heather and Miss Emily will always have a big place in our hearts. Her first teachers, who made her first experience with school wonderful.
Thank you to Grandpa Mike for picking Paisley up two days a week the entire year! And everyone else to helped us so that Paisley could attend 4K.
It's so hard to believe that the year is over and we now have a school ager.
Congrats, Paisley! You have no idea how proud we are to be your parents, and you should be so proud of yourself!
It still hasn't been that nice out...but we get outside as much as we can. We were playing baseball, check out this action shot of Paisley. I love her left hand. It's like valley girl baseball.
To say Everleigh is obsessed with babies is the understatement of the year. And none them can have clothes on either. And they're always pooping. She's so funny. She loves her babies!
This week, Hudson went to see the allergist. Number one, she confirmed that he never had pink eye. I think I just have to make myself feel better by throwing that out there. Never mess with a mom's gut feeling.
Hudders had allergy testing done...and he did really well. We found out that he's allergic to basically every type of tree, weeds and....dogs. No, we aren't getting rid of Oscar. He's likely immune to Oscar, but could react to other dogs.
So now, Hudson is on Allegra, a nose spray and eye drops. We also now have the weekend number of the allergist in case he would have an outbreak like before.
In true Hudson fashion, Munchichi came along too.
Hudson's atopic dermatitis is really bad too...so we now have a new bedtime skin regimen that goes like this:
Bath
Lather him in vegetable oil. (Yes, the kind you cook with)
Pat him dry
Put prescription ointment on his bad spots
Listen to him cry about how much it stings
Apply lotion to his whole body
Listen to him cry
Then put him in WET pajamas for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Listen to him cry.
Thank his father for genetics. (just kidding, Craig. kind of)
Poor thing. Hopefully with all the treatments, we can get his yucky nose, eyes, throat and skin under control. It's only been a few days and I'm already tired of it. And so is he.
In other news, since my last post, Hudson has gotten the flu...and last night, so did Paisley. Now I'm sure Everleigh will be next. Probably just in time for her birthday party this coming weekend. I so hope I'm wrong!
This weekend we also celebrated cousin Katelyn's high school graduation! Congrats, Katelyn! Good luck at UWEC and the nursing program!
And so, our busy week of balancing work, sick kids, swimming lessons, a play date, Ev's birthday party and other events will continue. When June is over, I'll be really happy. And less stressed. I hope.
