The Fourth

Busy weekends mean that moms and dads are plain ol exhausted on Sunday nights.
Here is the low down of the main points of our week and weekend. Ready? Go.

Everleigh in Craig's shoes and hat. This is how you'll find her 50% of the time. The girl loves her some hats and shoes. For reals.

The weather finally feels like summer. Can I get a HOLLA for summer?! No? Okay, you're right. Way too much on a Sunday night.
The kids ran through the sprinkler, swam, and as always, naked baby came along.

I love the fourth of July. This year, we celebrated our niece, Cambree's 8th birthday, then spent the whole day swimming and hanging out at the Lokken's.

You either catch Ever really happy, or she's just a big crank. It can change from minute to minute. Here...cranky pants.

Happy Birthday Cambree Faye!

Watching the boat parade and catching candy.

The kids swam all day! They went down the slide (well...someone was pushed, cried, and refused to do it again. So he climbed the ladder all day) , played in the raft, went tubing, and jumped off the dock.

We ended the night with some really lame fireworks at home. I mean really stupid fireworks. The kids weren't even impressed. But, we tried.

Again, cranky pants. But it's so dang cute too. She's definitely the baby. But somebody has to be, right?!

Grandma Bonnie watched the littles so we could take Paisley to see the real fireworks! Nothing beats the smell, sound and sight of a good fireworks show!

Before they started we ran around on the football field...

...and had a few treats. Some of us were a little messier than others....

And this is why...

The next day was Grandma Brenda's birthday! Paisley, my mom and I spent the day visiting our newest family member, Elias, road-triping and celebrating my mom's birthday being serenaded by Paisley. Some of the songs went like this, "Happy birthday to you, you live in a car, you look like a grandma, and you smell like one too."

Then, the next day, we spent at the beach!

(Look at Madden...the kid is always doing this!)

I apologize for the lack of actual writing this week. Our pictures tell the story, and I'm okay with that. Night, y'all.
