in no particular order...

The last week has been a blur. Here is what we've been up to for the past almost two weeks, in no particular order.

Baby E took the plunge and got her ears pierced. Okay, I know. She's two...she had no say in it. Actually, she had been asking for earrings, and I had been wanting to get them pierced for a little while now, so....we did it. I was two when I got mine pierced, and so was Paisley, so we couldn't break the tradition, duh.
I promise that she hardly cried. I know it looks like we tortured her, but she cried for about 4 seconds. Literally. And I happen to think she looks pretty dang cute.

Before/During/After

This past week Haley brought the kids to the pool. She brought along Carly, Colton and Megan too. You need a lot of supervision for four little tikes. The kids had a ton of fun! I told Haley her only two jobs that day were to keep my kids safe and to take pictures. She gets an A+.

Madden earned his Monsters U game!
(and not to rain on Madden's parade, but Ev has been in undies for about two weeks now! She goes most of the day without accidents. We're getting there!)

Last week we attended Craig's Aunt Kris' wedding.

Makyah and Cambree were the greeters. Beautiful ones at that.

All of the little cousins!

Our fam. Thanks H & E.

Dancing...

Madden danced a little, but really just wanted to play on Uncle Cal's phone. Figures.

(love the way she's looking at Kris)

Congrats, Kris & Joel!

This week we also played outside (please cold weather, don't come too soon) and did some painting.

It's not super often that I totally skip a week of blogging. But this week was I had to prioritize. Not only did we lose someone incredibly close to us and had to find new child care...but I also had my final days at the Family Resource Center. To say it was an emotional week is an understatement.
I had worked at the FRC for nearly 10 years. I met some amazing people through my work there, and I will really miss seeing my staff each day. I'm ready to move on to a new adventure and am thankful for all I've gained working there.

XO,
Brook
