We start with our Packer babes. Go pack Go.
Paisley is finally old enough for the year-round dance classes at her studio. She'll work all year on a couple of routines, a pom and a hip hop. She's really excited...about wearing the dance costumes this year. :)
She's in the pink 'dance your heart out shirt'
and acting like she owns the place...
Even though it's been really nice out, the boys have been obsessed with coloring lately. It's seriously all Madden wants to do. It's kind of nice, because I love to color, except when I have to nag at them to pick up the zillions of crayons that roll to the floor.
Since I am pretending to be a stay at home mom for nearly three weeks, we've done several play dates. Many of which I didn't take pictures, but today we traveled an hour to have a play date with a few of my besties and their kiddos.
Hudson and Brayden...
The boys. This is what triplet boys would look like. Brayden is just 2 months older than the twins.
The little girls are each about 6 months apart. See the three cuties? Oh wait, Everleigh refused to get in the picture. So instead, the cute Elliot and Layla.
A few other playground pics from throughout the week...
So as you know, Miss Paisley Rian started school this week.
You can skip to the photos, or read my mush below. Don't feel bad if you head right to the photos. I just need Paisley to know this...
Dear Paisley,
Somehow, while living life, my colicky, spikey-haired, tantrum throwing, baby grew into a beautiful, creative, animated, smart kindergartener.
Tomorrow, you start school. You might be scared, but that's okay. So am I. I'm scared that you'll miss me. And I'm scared that you won't. As hard as it is to let you go, I'm so excited for you. And most of all, I am happy to see you so excited. It's going to be so fun to watch you soak up every lesson, every song, every friend and every rule.
Now, it's my job to challenge you to be the best you that you can be. To encourage you, push you outside of your comfort zone, support you, tell you that you are great, discipline you when you are not, and help you learn to love you. I promise to be your biggest cheerleader, and I promise that if you have a not-so-great day at school, that I will listen, or just rock you. Funny how you wouldn't snuggle with me at 5 months old, but at 5 years old you wake in the night to do so. And you know what, you always can.
Tomorrow, so many things change. However, we, we won't change.
Tomorrow, I will send you off to a room full of people you have never met.
Tomorrow, I will think about you the entire day.
Tomorrow, I will be so proud of the mature 5 1/2 year old that you are.
Tomorrow, I wish you the most amazing first day of school.
You have the whole world ahead of you, Paisley Rian. To be able to walk behind you in your journey gives me much joy.
Love you always,
Mom
Sign in day was Wednesday. We brought in her school supplies, met her teacher Miss Pherson, and looked around her class room.
She's pretty excited about her locker. And that she doesn't have to share it. :)
The next day, was the real first day of school!
Her brothers were sad to send her off. Madden said, "What we gonna do without Paisley, Mom? I will miss her all day." (funny, since those two are the ones who fight the most)
The whole fam went with to see Paisley into the school. And for those who are wondering...no, I didn't cry. In front of Paisley, anyway.
Hugs for daddy...
And off she goes...
Waiting in line...
And heading in to her first day of school...
When we picked her up, she was SO happy. She said she loved Miss Pherson, school was awesome and that she couldn't wait to go back.
The next day, all smiles again. She even got two paw stamps for good behavior. Although, she was pretty bummed that they had to leave music class because somebody threw up all over. She said, "yah, he just like, puked and puked until a teacher got a bucket. And then, we like, had to go straight to like, gym. I like, looked the other way, so I didn't like, puke too." (poor kid, and poor teacher!) (and yes, she used at least that many 'likes')
So now, the craziness of having a schoolager, two preschoolers, and a toddler continues...
Until next week.
Mrs Bergie, Out.
