Mini-Member Profile Updates

Sorry I missed last week. I started my new (new) job Monday, and had to mentally and physically prepare for the working, get the kids to school and day care world. But I'm back. We all survived my first week back at work. And the job...amazing. Our new day care...amazing. We are blessed.

So, it's been a while since I've shared what each mini-member of the Bergie Bunch is up to. So today is the day.

First up, Madden. Or Mad Mike, as he's often referred to as.
Madden is a wiz with anything electronic. He loves to color and do art projects. He hates sleeping, and rarely naps anymore. He and Paisley fight a lot. Madden is the first to tell us he loves us and give us kisses. He wants to be a librarian when he grows up. He's usually a good helper, but can be quite lazy at times. Madden's favorite colors are green and black. He prefers his Grandma Brenda over anyone and tells us that he looks out for her.

Miss Everleigh Calla.
(yes she has a black eye--she fell on the stairs)
Everleigh loves to play with babies. She also loves to swing. Everleigh is the spunkiest of the kids--always telling us NO. Ever is potty trained, and takes a 1-2 hour nap each day. She loves to eat what ever she isn't supposed to (still!). Everleigh's favorite colors are all the colors. When she grows up she wants to be Boo (from Monsters Inc). She loves to look at books and sing, and she plays really well alone or with the other kids.

Hudson Koehler.
Hudson loves playing sports. He is the first to want to be outside running around. He wants to be a hockey player when he grows up, and his favorite color is blue. Hudson pouts a lot when he doesn't get his way and there is no coaxing him out of his moodiness once he's there. He loves dramatic play, and he and Paisley do it often. Hudson naps when his brother lets him, and still carries his munchhichi with him everywhere.

Miss P. Paisley Rian.
Paisley is a school ager now, and often tells us that she knows more than everyone because she's in Kindergarten. She is creative and loves to draw and do art. She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. Her favorite colors are hot pink and aqua. She is very bossy and the fighting in the house is much more present when she's home. She is a great helper around the house. Paisley loves to dance and takes it very seriously. She loves school and (so far) loves to tell us all about her day. Paisley also cries more than any of the other kids, combined. :)

As I mentioned, the three littles started at a new day care. Courtney watches them a couple of days a week, and they love it. One day Hudson asked me if I could go back to work because he didn't want to leave. Londa will never be replaced, but we feel so lucky to have Courtney--she's wonderful with the kids.

The last couple of weeks we...

Had a play date with Elliot.

Made pumpkins.

And pouted when we couldn't ruin our brothers pumpkin.

Had a living room picnic for lunch while watching the Packers.

Watched the sky-divers at the jump club and learned about aviation from Grandpa Mike.

Went to a family fun night at Paisley's school.

Acted like wild animals and climbed the fridge in our undies.

Did a lil beauty shop.

'Camped out' in the living room for a night.

(Which brought be back to the newborn days. I heard every breath, every snore, every turn. I got up to cover them each about three times. It was a terrible night's sleep for me, but a fun experience for them. It's clear why I don't let them sleep in the same room with me though. I can't wait to go back to my own bed tonight!)

Went to the Children's Museum.

Had themed color days at school. This day was rainbow day.

Played at some different play grounds than we normally do.

Ripped out our pony. Looks lovely, huh?

Hope you all have a great week.
