More indoor activities to keep us sane.
Paisley decided to give herself a pedicure.
And put on a little makeup
And...do Madden's toes.
We've been having a bit of trouble staying away from the computer, Kindle, iphones and movies over the last few weeks. I refuse to let them play on electronics all of the time... it's crazy how often they ask to play. Sometimes they wander around and continuously ask to look at my phone or when it will be there turn to play on the kindle. It's sickening. It's mostly the three littles that ask--but sadly for them, mom and dad are putting their foot down. Less app play and more real play.
Paisley celebrated her friend Emarie's birthday by dying shirts. Fun!
Friday night I got together with my friends from high school, so Craig had a daddy date night. I got this text during their fun night out. :)
We had been planning a mid-winter fun-cation to WI Dells that we had to cancel due to my surgery. As a back up plan, we spent the day at the Mall of America. Complete with lunch at the Rainforest Café and 7 stuffed animals and one set of nunchucks. All such lovely choices.
Madden never looks at the camera. Never. Unless he's photo-bombing, I guess.
The Fly Boat was a great hit last year, so it was first up on our list of to-do rides this year! (And Ev's first time)
But to our surprise, turning a year older may mean you are actually scared this year? Oh, Madden! He screamed this high-pitch scream the entire time. He did utter, "It. Is. Not. Fun." while he was bouncing up and down too.
All of the other rides went well. Paisley went on her first roller coaster and some other fun, high and fast ones, which means that she looks like a dot in the photos and they aren't worth posting.
Well...that was our week. I'm tired. Not that that's anything new.
Talk to you next week!
~Brook
