Life here is getting back to normal as I went back to work three days this week. The kids went to the Indoor Sports Center with my mom, Paisley went shopping and lunching with Grandma Bonnie and her cousin, and...uh...that's about it. The littles are still going to Courtney's and loving it, and they go to weekly classes at a Fitness Center and a weekly play group. Other than that...it's just the same ol same ol here on the Bergie Bunch.
Today, we did a few art projects, and sadly, those are the only pictures I took all week.
Tonight, five random facts about each of the Bergie Bunch kiddos. First up, the spunkiest and smallest of the bunch...Everleigh Calla
1. Everleigh sleeps with approximately 10 babies, 20 diapers, 5 or so books, 5 water bottles, and other random toys. She was the best sleeper as a baby, but is usually the last one asleep now. Or at least the loudest. One night, she hollered, "MOM, where's my cell phone?!! Somebody might text me!!"
2. Evers loves to do some hitting. You will often catch her sneaking in a little hit on one of her brothers.
3. The girl loves green beans, toast and ice water. And gets quite upset if the ice cubes melt insisting that I never gave her any.
4. E.C. sings. All. Of. The. Time. --And she sings songs that I had no idea she even knew. The other day she just belted out, "Are you gonna stay the night, are you gonna stay the night, whoa-oh whoa-oh, whoa-oh, are you gonna stay the night". She loves singing and blows us always with how many words she remembers from songs.
5. She carries every baby like it's a real one, as gentle as can be.
HUDSON
1. Hudson has the best laugh ever. He has the biggest belly laugh that can make you start giggling when you have no idea what's even funny.
2. This child is so stubborn and often uses "eh" as his preferred word in any situation he's not happy in. He's also the child who refuses to get up, get dressed or do anything that I ask him to do. Oh, and not just me, he refuses for grandparents, child care providers and family too. It's fun.
3. Hudders has a great sense of imagination and loves making up situations and playing with Paisley. They get along really well until Hudson says he's going to be Elsa (From Disney's Frozen)...that really makes Miss P mad.
4. Monchichi, Cookie Monster pillow and anything Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are always attached to Hudson.
5. Hudson is our best sleeper. He never (knock on wood) gets out of bed or yells for anything. He's usually the first asleep and the last one up. And Madden almost always wakes him up, which is then why we encounter #2.
MADDEN...
1. Madden is quick to tell us he loves us. Sometimes it's followed with a, "but I love Grandma Brenda the most", but nonetheless, he's super loving.
2. Yeah...he's still obsessed with movies and other electronics. He has said this phase at least 200 times to us, literally, "When Frozen comes out, umm, how 'bout we go to the library and ummm, check Frozen out. Mom? When's Frozen going to be out? By Thanksgiving?" (sigh)
3. Madden loves milk more than anyone else in the house. And as for trying other new foods, forget it.
4. Mad Mike has been in to screaming at his siblings when they talk over him. And it happens at lot.
5. Our little lefty is pretty darn good at coloring. He stays in the lines really well and chooses coloring over almost any other activity.
PAISLEY...
1. Paisley is writing a lot, and says that writing is her favorite thing to do at school. It's very phonetic right now and pretty funny. She wrote me a note that said, "Mom, I ned to hav a tok wif you. I love you." Good stuff.
2. Bossy, in-charge, rule-following type-A personality if I've ever seen one! I thought I was type A, but wow, this girl...she's me on steroids.
3. Miss P is still in dance and loving it. She's very proud that she's doing a leg extension in one of her routines and looooooves to show any company we have.
4. Paisley would take care of anyone who isn't well--and loves to be motherly. She's so sweet and caring.
5. She also has a huge gag reflex and often throws up at the table all over her dinner when she's forced to take one bite of something she thinks she won't like.
And CRAIG and I.... what do you want to know about us?
Two things? Ok. (I'll go ask him to answer this question now and he's going to be so mad and say, "I don't know! Don't ask me this stuff!" K....here I go....wait for me....
CRAIG...
1. "UGH, I don't know!" (see, told you)
2. "I am extremely sexy."
BROOK...
1. I am baffled on a daily basis about the stuff people write on facebook. The only good part is that it keeps my besties and me entertained because we be group texting about all the ridic stuff that people divulge about themselves.
2. I've bungee jumped, twice, and really want to sky-dive.
Okay....my heater is calling....BBBBRRRRROOOOOOOOOOKKKKKK.
And I'd hate to leave her loney. She really needs a name. I love her.
Have a good week. Stay warm and check in next week!
Much love,
B
