All I can say is that I love kids. And that teachers are saints.
While Paisley was at school, the littles were with Courtney, having fun as always. I absolutely love that she sends me picture updates of what they're doing each day. It makes being a full time working mom SO much easier.
As you know, Craig was at a training for two weeks. It just so happened that I had to go to an out of town training for a night this week too. Thank goodness Grandma Brenda was back from vacation and could jump right in to Grandma mode. And lucky for her, it was dance night and it happened to be bring a friend to dance night as well. Paisley obviously chose her BFF, Hailee.
(THANK YOU mom, for taking them!)
Paisley talks about Hailee all of the time, and tells me all about their plans to go camping together this summer, and have sleepovers every weekend. :)
I love to write, and Paisley does too. Too bad my writing is usually public, and hers is sekrit.
Another random picture to send to Craig while he was away...
The kids at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
And congrats to Craig and his graduating class. If you ask the kids where daddy was, they say, "He's learning how to teach people how to lock the bad guys up." Pretty close.
I'm just happy that he's home.
Working on a few Easter projects.
Easter means spring.
We'll do whatever we can to get it here faster.
It's fine that our two year old is practicing duck lips, right?
Love baby girl so much. I don't think crack kills. I think it's pretty dang cute.
One note about how our life is revolving. Don't get me wrong, this parenting 4 kids is really demanding. And at their ages, especially physically demanding. With each independent milestone, I cheer. I know I'll miss helping them with baby-ish tasks, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm cheering with each "I did it myself mom!" especially if it's something to go with getting ready to go somewhere!
Even just a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have ever thought about writing this blog while the kids were awake. When they are awake, we are playing with them, feeding them, or cleaning up after them. Seriously. But right now (knock on wood) all four kids are in their bedroom playing. And I'm writing. Their room will be trashed, no doubt about that. But there's no crying, no screaming, and nobody saying, "mom, mom, mom, mom, mom!" Does this mean that I might get a little "me" time other than between 8-10pm?!
