So much to do, so much to write...

I apologize for slacking on the blog. Last week, my sister in law, Melissa and I had our (ninth or tenth) annual thrift sale. Those babies are a lot of work. Worth it, but a lot of work nonetheless. I meant to get a picture of the sale, but the crazies banging down the door two hours before the sale started prevented a photo op.

Besides getting ready for the sale, we've been busy! So much to do means there is so much to write. I'll be as brief as possible. You're welcome. Our last two weeks in a nut shell...

We had a fun visit with Emily, Layla and new baby sissy, Camille. Guess who just loved her?

When the kids are at Courtney's they have so much fun. The best part? I get picture texts almost every day. It seriously makes being a working mom okay. I cannot say enough about how blessed we have been with child care providers. Here are two texts I got last week.

My response to this was, "Can she drive that thing?!?!" I was scared for Courtney's life! She says she can! :)

Overall, I'd say that right now, Madden is our easiest child. Don't worry, it hasn't always been that way, and I'm positive that could change. One night, he did throw a fit though, and wanted to sleep on the floor. Fine. Go for it, buddy. He made himself a comfy bed and lasted all night.

The girls have been dressing in too big for them costumes and dancing away.

Somebody wants to be just like sissy.

Miss P completed her first year-long session of Danz Kraze. She's pretty pumped!

Paisley can read. It's so fun to see (and hear...except when I'm in a hurry) She got new books from a school book order, came home, plopped in the sun and read. I hope this continues. Love.

The twins completed their ABC Sport Tykes class! Yay! Here are a few photos from their last day.

The girls and I got to participate the last day too.

I'm really proud of these two. Our biggest accomplishment--separating! It wasn't easy, but they did it! Their thoughts on sports class? "Sport Class is boring. When can we do another sports class?"  "Yah, it was boring here. Are we doin' another class mama? Cuz I want to."  SIGH. XOXO

Paisley, Everleigh and I hosted a bridal shower for my cousin's fiancé. They will be married in July, and Paisley is the flower girl. She was a great helper for the shower too. We are super excited for the wedding and dancing!

While the girls and I did girl things at the shower, Craig and his Dad took the boys golfing for their very first time!
I mean, really. Does it get any cuter than this?
I'm so proud Craig color coordinated the pop with his shirt.

Although they were more interested in seeing the turtles (all named Tito) than golfing, they all had a fun day.

Spring, and dare I say summer-like, weather means fun outside. The kids and I were talking about goals. What they were, how to set them, etc. So, we decided to set a goal. Visit 10 different parks this summer. Last weekend we hit up two. I have a feeling we may smash this goal by July.

If you know Paisley at all, then you've heard her cry. Seriously. And you've probably heard what we call her "scream cry". The child has cried at least once a day since the day she was born. And I'm not kidding. I feel bad because one day, she's going to be really hurt and I'm not going to believe her. So until that day, I'll just photograph her scream cries, because it never fails...she's always the one to get hurt.

Madden mastered the monkey bars!!

We met bestie, Elliot at the park to play and look at animals. We love time with the R's.

We also attended the Memorial day parade. Who doesn't love marching bands and candy?

After, we grilled out at Lokken's, and these two crazies through it was warm enough to swim in the river. Brrrrr.

Then, a day the kids had been talking about for months--their visit to meet Conway. Conway's mom and I work together, and she showed us everything we would want to see about horses and more. Then, the kids got to ride Conway!
If you've been a blog reader for a while, you might remember that last year we tried a farm visit because Madden was so excited to see a cow. That...well, that didn't go so well. But this time, we only had a couple of tears, tight squeezes, and he was good to go!! I'm SO happy he enjoyed himself. He is after all, going to have a thousand horses (named Conway 1, Conway 2, Conway 3....).

It was hard to pick pictures, I literally took 150 in the hour and a half we were there. Ooops. The kids loved learning about horses (and cow and cats). Madden didn't want to leave, and that makes me so happy.
