crying and whining and running, oh my

It's Sunday night. Here I am blogging. I swear I either have a super long post with hundreds of pictures to chose from, or I have like nothing. Since last week was a post with a zillion pictures, this week's has...way less than a zillion.

It's kind of been a trying week with the kids. Lots of whining, tons of crying, several fights, and even the discovery of about 30 tootsie roll wrappers under a bed. (coughHudsoncough). I'm not sure what's in the air, or if it's summer and we aren't getting them to bed as early...but whew, it tires a mama out.
Nevertheless, the week flew by, and it's now June. We did summer-like things and between all the crying and whining, we had fun too!

In just 13 years, baby E will be behind the wheel.

The boys got fresh....new hair cuts.

It was hot enough to spread the toys all over the yard and run in and out of the pool, through the sprinkler, roll in the grass and do it again. We've waited a long time to do this.

With her first year of college under her belt, Haley is home for a little bit before her next big summer adventure. During her visit we realized that this is the first summer in 6 years that either Haley or her sisters aren't babysitting for us. It makes us totally sad (and old). We were happy to visit with Hales! But we don't always all want to pose for a picture. But, we try...

And we ended up with one on the couch. Oh well. Haley knows it wouldn't be the Bergie Bunch if everyone cooperated.

We also attempted homemade bouncy balls. Which really just turned into flubber or gak. Fun either way. Well, for three of them.

Friday night our family participated in the Locust Lane Leopard Fun Run. Paisley ran a 1/4 mile race, and we all ran a 2 mile. Craig pushed the three littles while he ran, Paisley and bestie  Hailee walked (because they were tired from their other race :) ) and I huffed and puffed beside Craig. I meant to take pictures, but the hills on the course and I were not friends. So....yah....

Great job, Paisley! Running with bad asthma is hard, and even though she had white and red blotches on her face when she finished, she finished strong!

Thanks for checking in.
