It's been a while

Hi there. It's been a while. Believe it or not, life hasn't slowed down since I've posted last, so here is the quick and dirty.

Paisley had her friend Drake over for a play date. The best part of the day? When they were coming in from outside and Paisley said, "Drake, you might want to take your shoes off because your going to be playing with me in my bed." I looked at Craig with the side eye. Oh man. The innocence at 6. You've gotta love it.

Fall means hot tub season is in full effect.

Week 3 of football went well. Hudson seems more interested than Madden, but only if Monchichi plays too.

October means Halloween projects. And candy.

We celebrated Craig's birthday!
(along with a nebulizer treatment. I swear our life revolves around asthma and allergies. It's terrible.)

And the crooked, hanging, loose tooth is finally out!!
She cried over this dang tooth for like two weeks. She really really wanted it out for pictures. That didn't happen, but oh well. I'm just happy I don't have to listen to her cry every.single.night about it coming out.

The best and worst part of spending last week with Elliot and Amy? It's the last time we will see them for quite a while. My bestie and her family have moved...far away...like really far. It's not forever, but I know it will seem like it.
Oh, Ev.

Our girlies. Love them to pieces. Amy and I have a sister-like bond, and watching our girls play means the world to me.

Words can't express how much I will miss you, Aim. Thank goodness for facetime and constant texting. I look forward to visiting soon!

Week 4 of football was good!

The cheerleaders, who cheer from...ummm...under the bleachers.

Last week, I surprised Craig with a gift for our 10 year anniversary. I had been secretly planning a vacation for us for the past 9 months. It was SO hard not to tell him. But I did it...saved money behind his back, booked it all and didn't spill the beans! :) He was shocked...then excited. 12 years ago we went to Vegas, other than that, we have never, that's right, never been on a vacation together. Spending the last 7 years of our life focusing on our children, it was unbelievably nice to focus on just us for 5 days. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in San Diego. It was perfect.

Thank you to my mom who stayed with the kids, and to Bonnie for helping! I'm still trying to catch up on life before heading back to work and real life tomorrow. I'm hoping to do a post on the vacay sometime soon.
G'Night.
