Don't worry though, we still make time for the good stuff. Playing and dance parties and you know.... wiping our baby's butt.
We also make time for celebrating birthdays! Our niece Payton turned 5 last week and we had fun celebrating her special day. Happy Birthday, Payton!
As I was passing through the hallways at both Paisley's school and H&M's school, I noticed that they had identical bulletins boards up in each school. I snapped a picture of what each child told their teacher they were thankful for. Cuties.
Speaking of thankful. One thing (of many) I love about Courtney is that she not only does super fun stuff with the kids, but she texts me pictures throughout the day to show me what they're up to. It really does make working full time easier to know the kids are well taken care of, learning, and having fun.
I snapped a picture of the big kids' school pictures. It's crazy that in just one year, they will all be in school.
Last weekend we attended a funeral for our friend's father. Although the circumstances were a terrible reason to get together, it brought our friends together, which was nice. Several of our friends have lost their parents in the last couple of years--it's scary to think we are old enough to be at this stage of life. It also makes me seriously cherish each day I have with my family and friends.
Eau Claire. Ah, Eau Claire. It's cold here. It snows way too early, way too much and way too late into the spring. It takes longer to get places, it takes longer to get 4 kids ready, it takes up all the space in my entry way. I haven't convinced Craig to move yet, so until then we have to make the best of it. :)
(Notice Everleigh in the purple? Under Paisley!)
Craig went down. Then the sled busted into 5 pieces and he was able to strike a pose and slide down the rest of the way like a play girl model. Uh, kind of.
XOXO,
Brook
