Then home to celebrate Paisley's Birthday.....
Miss Paisley Rian, who came 4 days late after 36 hours of labor, only to be born right on Christmas day. I love her dearly, and she has kept us on our toes since the minute she was born.
Our SEVEN year old. Miss P.
She loves...
Dancing
Being in charge
Naked Noodles (buttered noodles with garlic salt)
Drawing/Writing/Making Lists
Monster High Girls
Her cousins, friends and teachers
Rollerblading
Telling people they are wrong
Blanky
Oscar
Being with her mama
What do we want to tell our 7 year old as she reads this back some day?
I want to say that, Paisley...you have a huge heart. You would do anything for anyone in need. You are so caring and watching you look out for others makes me so happy.
You are respectful and pretty darn responsible too.
You also cry. A lot. Like, every day. It's okay--I'm emotional too. It's definitely not easy to deal with, but we try our best.
You are a hard worker, a beautiful dancer and give the best squeezes. Even though you wouldn't snuggle as a baby, you've sure made up for it in the last couple of years.
You love phy-ed, Frog and Toad books, writing notes and building forts.
You make your dad and I so proud. Thank you for being you. Happy 7th Birthday--we look forward to watching you bloom into whomever you wish to be this next year.
XOXO
Celebrating on her special day.
Until then...I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
See ya next week.
Brook
