A YEAR IN REVIEW

Well, as you can see, this is a year in review. That means I am turning ONE soon!! And because of that, my mommy wanted to write the post today. She's been begging me, so I guess it's finally her turn....take it away mom...

Thanks to all of our faithful blog followers! It has been so worth documenting every moment of Paisley's first year. Enjoy the recap of where we've been the past year--but first, a few words to Paisley...

Our little miracle,
You have given us so much over this past year. Even though your parents love each other very much, we have never known love like this. Every day that we have spent with you has been the best day of our life. You have taught us what it means to stick together when the going gets tough (4 hour crying stretches will do that to you) and you have taught us that your heart beating makes our household run. Our world will never be the same now that you are here. We absolutely love your laugh, and the way you dance every single time music is played (even if it is just daddy singing). How you get so excited to see Oscar every day we get home from day care, and the way you snuggle your monkey in your neck. Your wet kisses are the best, and your tiny hands and feet are the sweetest. We love that you wave to every person you see, and hope you always continue this! You always do things on your own time, and probably on purpose. Time has gone so fast, and it won't slow down anytime soon. Looking back on these photos reminds us so much of the good and the bad, and all that we've learned in trying to become the best parents for you. May this year be full of laughter, dancing, clapping, running, playing, making messes, giving hugs....we love you bunches Miss P...Happy Birthday!

Oh yes, here is the beloved, "I'm ready to pop" shot!

And the day Paisers was born!! Merry Christmas, Mom and Dad!

Looking back on this makes my heart hurt. Seeing you in there for 11 days was the hardest thing ever. Thank God you are healthy now!!

First day home...ahhh

And what we saw (and heard!!) for the first 4 months!!! Wow, I do not miss those days of bouncing on the ball wishing the time would pass...poor thing!

Oh, and your atopic dermatitis...no wonder you cried all of the time. Sad!!

First day of cereal...look at how your head doesn't even reach the top of the high chair, peanut!!

And how can we forget the burrito???

Bath time, a total favorite!!

Crawling was difficult because your skin was so itchy, you couldn't get past rubbing it on the carpet!

Books, books, books!!
