Happy New Year everyone, it's 2009! What a year I've had already, whew...it's been a busy one! Basically, all of 2009 I've spent visiting with people, it's been super fun!

My week started off at the dr getting shots and my finger pricked. No fun at all! But, I am healthy as can be, and that's what matters, right?! That same day my friend Emily came to babysit me! She is home on break from college so I was super excited she could watch me. But...the next day, she got the flu! So, that meant that good 'ol Grandma Brenda had to step in. Makyah and Cambree were over that day too, and they just coudn't believe that "Brooky's mommy was there too!" Earlier that morning daddy took us three sledding in the neighbors back yard, it was fine...but I didn't really give much of a reaction. Imagine that. Kyah and Cams loved it though!

I also went to G&G Berg's for a party on New Years Day. I got to see lots of family and friends. And later in the week I got to play with Molly and Avaya!! Molly is 3 1/2 months older than me, so I want to do everything she does, and have everything that she has!!!! Baby Avaya is 4 months old, so pretty soon she'll be able to get into trouble with us. Until then, she should watch out!!! AND, I even got to see my auntie Amy who I have been missing so much lately!! She brought me more gifts (she spoils me!) and I loved her up like it was just yesterday since we had seen each other last. Really, it was a busy week of playing with lots of friends!!

As you can see from the pictures, I am an artist. Pretty good paintings, huh?! I loooove getting messy, so finger painting is right up my alley! Thanks Emily (mommy's friend) for the paints! Oh, guess what else I am totally into??? Gagging myself! I mean, my mom has all of these magazines around the house with these skinny models, and well, ....no no...I'm only kidding...but I do really enjoy gagging myself. My mom gets SO mad at me, and takes away whatever toy I'm using. But, one day when Molly and Avaya were over, I just used my hands...until I puked a little...and she can't take my hands away!! Don't ask me why it's fun. It just is. (mom note: I hope this phase passes soon!!) I am also obsessed with spoons. My new tea set has spoons and I carry them everywhere!

Well, I hear everyone talking about setting new goals for 2009, so here are mine...

#1: begin saying even more words, and putting two together

#2: get down to one nap a day

#3: snuggle more with my mom and dad

#4: kick a ball

#5: continue to be so dang cute
