Role Reversal

A little bit of role reversal is taking place in our household. Lately, Paisley has been acting like Oscar or a baby. You can find her barking, licking and carrying a ball in her mouth--- or--- she's pretend crying (which is really fun to listen to!), asking to be held, and needing to be burped. In addition, Hudson and Madden have switched roles too. Madden has been really calm for the most part, and Hudson has been the fussier of the two! I know, I never thought I would ever say that, but it's true! And soon enough (in one week) Craig and I will be switching roles...as he will come home for the second part of his paternity leave and I will....ummm...sniff sniff....return to work!! Yup, this is my last week off with the kids!! :(

We took a walk to a nearby school and flew Paisley's kite. It was really windy, so a perfect day for it!

The boys are doing well. Their smiles and cooing just melts our hearts! They have been sleeping a bit better, and are in somewhat of a routine now. However, with two...routines are very hard to stick to! And I am definitely a routine kinda girl! The last few nights, one of the twins has been sleeping a 5 hour stretch! It's great.....if only the other one would do it too!!! Then I could sleep that long as well!

Thank goodness for warmer weather! It makes the days go faster when we can be outside. It's a bit tricky with two little ones...but we make it work.

Earlier in the week the boys are I sported matching outfits! Daddy was proud to see us all in our Run DMC shirts and jeans when he got home from work. And looks like Madden is a fan too.

Well...life was somewhat uneventful this week....as uneventful as if can get with a two year old and twins, that is. However, we did lose a special someone this week, Grandma Fran....and she will be missed! Our hearts go out to the Wojtyna family!
