Daddy Daycare

Daddy's first week home alone with the boys went great!! No, I said, NO calls to mommy at work!! Madden had some fussy times, but otherwise, they were good for Craig! He even took them to Menards...alone!! He's more brave than I am...and has stronger muscles too. Carrying two babies is tough stuff. And...I did okay. I was so unbelievably busy at work, that I could have stayed until 8:00 every night. However, I couldn't drive home fast enough to see my baby boys and their big sis! My new best friend is coffee, and it makes my morning manageable. Craig was able to help in the night because we started on formula...but with two babes...getting a good nights sleep is nearly impossible. It's so nice to not have to worry about the kids while I am at work---they have a wonderful Daddy!! And so...off to week 2 of work I go...missing the kids every minute!

(Somebodies gettin a good night's sleep!)
The boys are definitely getting more fun. They are looking at toys and grasping them, and watching them smile is the best thing in the world! They are finally enjoying bath time too....

(Our 3 boys doing tummy time)
Saturday, we decided to head to Woodbury to do some bedroom furniture shopping. We went in and out and in and out of a thousand stores....and came home with two swaddling blankets, Brewers hats and Brewers outfits for the boys. Yup, I said we were in MN. And shopping for furniture. It was a long day, but was nice to get out of EC for a bit. It was the boys first trip over to MN and they did really well!! We even got to have dinner with our friends Andy and Tiff (and inside baby boy) which was fun! The boys did well out to eat. Paisley however, decided (after no nap) to eat her macaroni and cheese with her hands...and then dunk her hands in her dip for her carrots. She was an absolute disaster--before twins, I would have been horrified. After twins...it was all good after a few wet wipes. Oh man. I think we may have scared soon to be mom, Tiff though!! :)

Everyone except Hudson is feeling under the weather. Paisley is staying home from Londa's tomorrow...and hopefully Daddy and Madden can get some rest too. I will suck it up at work--being sick is one thing, but being a sick mommy is another. I don't ever remember my mom being sick. Guess that's because you just don't have time, right?!
So anyway-- have to run. Lots to do this week to get ready for the thrift sale too.
Thanks for checking in....
