Our first night out!

It's time for blogging with the berg's again! This week we spent just really enjoying our kiddos. They are the sweetest things...

(Hudson, Left-- Madden, Right)

(Of course Miss P can't miss out on any of the action!)
The twins are growing like weeds!!
Pictured below is Hudson taking a bath. H Bomb is sooo sweet. He smiles all of the time, has thick fuzzy blonde hair, blows bubbles all of the time, sits on his own for up to 10 seconds, cries when I don't feed him fast enough, and is total awe of his own hands and feet.

Mr. Madden is pictured below also taking a bath. Mad Mike is so sweet! He is really into jumping, laughs every time we lay him down in his crib, has one tooth, still has very little hair, sits on his own for a long time and sucks on his own toes.

The boys had biter biscuits for the very first time this week! They loved them! (even Paisley had to have her own biter biscuit too....and, whenever we feed the boys, she tries the baby food....just with her pinky though!)

Paisley Rian has been full of SO much energy lately!!! Her imagination is unreal. She's been in to telling stories, so she will say a long series of run on sentences and then you hear, "the end". Each night at bedtime, she instructs me what she wants to hear a story about. Typically she says, "tell me a story, with mommy, daddy, Woody, Buzz Lightyear-- having a picnic with strawberries and milk." Then it's my job to come up with something good, based on that! The other night though, we were reading books, and she was telling me who all the people in the book were...and she was totally making up names! One was Ashley, another Kara....yah, no clue... but I hope she keeps her pretend play up!! Paisley's newest favorite past time is playing hide and seek. As long as she can't see you.....you can't see her. Check out her stellar hiding place from daddy. Hmmmm, I wonder where she could be.....

This weekend marked a first for Craig and I. We spent a night away from the kids!!!!! Thanks to Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Mike....we went to a friends wedding up north and they spent the night at our house with all 3 kids!! I was a nervous wreck on the way up there...and left Bonnie with 2 pages of notes....but not long after the wedding, I was loving the kid free time...and time to actually talk to Craig, uninterrupted!! Thank you to Mike and Bonnie for spending the night with the kids...getting up in the middle of the night, while we slept in a barfy, smoke smelling hotel room....enjoying a full nights sleep! WAIT, did I say full nights sleep?? Umm....it wasn't quite full, as we didn't get back to the hotel room until after 1am.....and the worst part...I popped something in my hip while dancing. Yes, I am still in my 20's...and yes, I hurt my hip. Apparently I am one wild dancer, because I have gotten hurt many times at wedding dances.....and so today, I am limping around on a hip that pops every time I take a step.....oh, Brooky......this is why you are best drinking water, at home, holding your babies--- Did I make you proud, Amy?!?!

(Our first night away since the twins were born!! )
Today, we packed a picnic and went to the park for supper. Paisers is obsessed with picnics lately, so that's what we did! And tonight at bedtime, oddly enough, I had to tell her a story about mommy, daddy, hudson, madden, and paisley having a picnic with pickles and apples! (like that's all we ate! :) )

Enjoy your week, everyone. We will have our first visit from speech pathologist, Michelle.....and the kids will also have their very first non-family babysitter for a couple of hours too!! :)
Talk to you in...August!!! Ahhhh.....

Mya is in love with her toes too! Who needs toys when you have feet and toes? :)
