I have to start this week's post with a warning. As soon as you see this first picture (and the rest of them) you will ask....What happen to Madden??? Well....on Thursday, Daddy walked into the kitchen for one second, and Madden burned himself on our fireplace. He's fine...and it probably looks worse than it is because it's scabbed up...but he is okay. Daddy however, isn't. He feels terrible!! It's the first real owie any of our kids have gotten. Luckily, Madden won't remember a thing...and the fireplace WILL NOT be on when our kids are awake!!!
And....our little bug-a-boo's are 8 months old. Seriously, I'm a broken record...but where has the time gone??
MADDEN:
New food he eats-- Pancakes, Waffles, Lucky Charms, Yogurt, Applesauce, Toast, Cottage Cheese, Squash, Avocado, Cheese, Cheerios, Graham Crackers, Carrots, Peas, and Bananas!!
His favorite people-- Daddy, Mommy, Sister (as long as she's not screaming), Grandma's and Londa. Madden is not quick to warm up to people yet. He kinda gives you the death stare long before a smile will come.
Things that he loves-- Being held, snuggling, getting into everything he shouldn't have, chewing on stuff, screaming, playing peek-a-boo and being outside.
He sleeps-- NEVER. :) He goes down around 7/7:30 and gets up in the morning around 6:30. Oh wait...I think I forgot the 75 times he gets up between about 1am-6:30. UGH....needless to say, he is a terrible sleeper!
Madden can--- Crawl everywhere, climb up stairs, take 1-2 steps while hanging on to furniture, give kisses on command, say "eeee" (cheese) when you make him smile or give him a camera, use pincer grasp, tip up his sippy and say repeated syllables. He also has 4 teeth!
HUDSON:
New food he eats-- (see above...he and Madden eat the same thing.)
His favorite people-- pretty much anyone. Obviously he loves his mommy and daddy, and really loves Paisers, but he will basically go to anyone and flash them a smile!
Things that he loves-- Being tickled, jumping, swinging, chewing on stuff, eating, playing peek-a-boo, going for walks, his nuk and banging his arms and legs.
He sleeps-- Through the night (usually)!! He goes down around 7/7:30 and gets up about 6:30/7:00. Typically around 5:00am Hudson gets up 1-2 times, but I can give him his nuk and he goes back down. (Now last night was a very different story...so we'll see how tonight fares!)
Hudson can-- Crawl everywhere, finally sit from a laying position, do "so-big" on command, use pincer grasp, tip his sippy cup, play peek-a-boo by himself, bang things together and give hugs.
The twins are so much fun. They have been playing outside a ton (trying to eat leaves), riding the roller coaster, crawling through the tunnel and stealing allllll of Paisley's toys!
We finally picked out our pumpkins too!! It took Paisley the longest because she wanted these teeny tiny pumpkins...pretty much gourds. I tried to explain that she couldn't carve those types of pumpkins...but she didn't care.
Paisley also got to spend some one on one time with Grandma Brenda too! They played, got a Tinkerbell flashlight, and drove to Aunt Mary's salon for a haircut (for Gram, not P).
And Miss P. We can't forget about this silly girl. She has decided that for her 3rd Birthday (in two months) that she wants a Tinkerbell party. This is today anyway; last week it was Toy Story, then Princess, then Butterflies. So, we'll see... :)

Paisley is still doing speech on a weekly basis. They are still working on "D", "F" and "T" sounds. It's going really well and is really improving. She also says the darnedest things. My mom always says, "now write that down or you will never remember"...and she's right. So, I'm going to try to include a couple Paisleyisms in the blog.
A couple things that Paisley ALWAYS says,
"I will! In 3 mikuts (minutes)!!"
"Um, I don't have time" (I love when this is in reference to turning on a light!)
"Um, I don't have time" (I love when this is in reference to turning on a light!)
"Super, Super" (she pretty much adds this to whatever she says. Mom, Madden's super super tired. Dora is super super sick. My brushed my teeth super super well (and yes she says well, not good. :) )
And a few more from this week....
Paisley and my mom were talking about getting pumpkins when my mom asked Paisley if she could go with. Paisley said, "No, you can't go with Grandma. You don't have enough money!"
In Church, Paisley said, "Mom, can I talk loud?" I said, "no, you cannot". Paisley said, "MOM, that boy is talking loud!!" ---in reference to the priest!!
In the bathtub, I asked Paisley if I should wash her bottom or if she wanted to. She said that she would do it, then proceeded to say to herself, "Now be careful Paisley!"
In church, as the music was playing, Paisley sternly told me, "Mom. Dance!" I said, "shhh". In a really mad voice she said, "No, Mom. Music! Dance!"
