Horsin' Around

Hello, fellow blog readers! Are you wondering what is new in the Berg household? Well...let me tell you. Ummm, weeeeelll, nothin', really. Each day, we get up, go to day care, come home, eat dinner, play and get ready for bed. Sounds pretty easy, right?! :)

(The twins taking a sink bath. Hudson on the left, Madden on the right)

(This picture is dedicated to my best friend, Amy....see...they are all eating pickles! And Hudson is super excited about it!)

(Two of Paisley's latest pictures. I hate to brag, but really...she's not even 3 yet. Pretty darn good if you ask me!)
Speaking of Paisley...this girl never ceases to amaze me. Her creativity and imagination are incredible. This week we hardly called her Paisley at all. We addressed her as one of the following, depending on the day: "Dr.VandeLoo", "Cowboy", "Paisley Dr.VandeLoo Mommy", "Baby", or "Paisley Dr.VandeLoo Berg". She can stay in character for sooo long. Sometimes too long! When she plays baby, she craws, whines, cries and can't do anything for herself.....for a long time!! I do have to say, it's been nice having a doctor living in the house though. Today Craig had a tummy ache, and after looking in his eyes, ears, nose, mouth and slapping his cheek-- Dr.VandeLoo just tickled his belly and he was alllll better!
Paisley has also really been into doing my hair. As you probably have noticed, she gets obsessed with one hair style and will only let me do that one thing. For a long time now it has been "one baby braid" on the side of her head. Well, since Halloween, she's insisted on a bun, to look like Tinkerbell. In the midst of the hair drama, she has figured out how fun it is to do mommy's hair too. And....I LOVE it. Well, all of it except the time she was "braiding" my hair and got the brush really stuck in my hair. That...well, that wasn't all that fun. Anyway, the other day while doing my hair Paisley says to me, "Now hold still. You have caramel in your hair from your apple. I need to get it out. Eww, this is gross!" Of course I didn't actually have caramel....but do you think that same scenario has happened in our house before? :) Uh huh!
Also...the other morning I was doing my makeup and I dropped my blush on the ground. I said, "UGH". And Paisley said, "Well moooom, that's why you need to hang on to it with TWO hands!!" I love getting in trouble...she is right. If only I could hold the blush with two hands AND apply it at the same time. I would be amazing!

(Hudson riding the horsey. Looking like a homeless kid! Look at that hair! And drool! And dirty shirt. Nice.)

(And Madden taking a turn too!)

(The twins had their very first ALL non-baby food meal! Holy Crap....what a mess!!!!! They had carrots, cheese and tortellini. In case you are wondering-- Madden's plate stayed on his tray for about 2 minutes and Hudson's went flying off about 4 minutes into super. Not too bad...but wow, it is quite the chore to clean up the highchairs after dinner!)

(Hudders and Paisers)

(Cowboy Paisley--- who yells out randomly all day, "Ride Um Cowboy. Yee Haww")

The twins have been playing together so much. It's so fun to see them interacting. Most of the time Madden is taking away whatever Hudson is playing with...but nonetheless, they are playing. They often sit so close that one is practically on the other's lap. They clap with each other and copy each other a lot. This also goes for the night time drama. They now hear the other wake up, see Craig or me come in, and then stand up. I'm sure it's quite a site to see....lay one down, quick run to the other, but while you are doing that--the first one stands back up....and on and on. It's really fun.

(Just Playin')

A big THANK YOU to the Lokken's...as they invited Paisley to Kyah and Cambree's school last Friday night to see Toy Story 3 with them! P had a blast! She is so lucky to be included in all of the fun things that her bigger cousins do...so thank you!
That's all for now! The twins will be turning 9...yes, 9 months old this week. We'll check back in next Sunday!
