10 months and Snowed In

It's Sunday...here I am, blogging away! I know, I know...this weeks blog will never top the shock of last weeks blog. Is anyone still in shock?? :) I, finally, have completely excepted the thought of baby #4 joining our family...and can't wait!

I got to hear the baby's heart beat twice this week, and actually see the little bugger! He/she was head banging throughout the whole ultra sound. The last heart beat we heard was 163. I got to see the most perfect picture of his/her foot. Every toe completely clear. And to think, the baby is only about 3 inches right now! Imagine just how tiny that foot is! Awwww. Anyway...here are a couple recent shots of number four.

Baby #4- 13 1/2 weeks
And...our other babies!! The twins are 10 months old today! Whoo hoo!!!
Hudson loves to crawl, spin, crawl, spin, etc. We call him the spinning ninja. It's his cool trick. He gives the best open mouthed kisses and loves to "go crazy" (as you'll see in a later video clip). Here he is showing off his teeth!

Madden has been standing on his own for short amounts of time and loves getting into whatever you don't want him to have. He LOVES his blankie! He's also into making this funny face, which I sort-of caught on camera....

I cannot begin to explain the chaos that is in our house. You know what it is like to clean your house?? Oh, you do? Yah, we don't. Either the boys are "helping us" or "uncleaning" as we go. Friends and family, beware...we are doing the best we can! :)

And they are so cute, confined. :)

This week the kids must have been tuckered out. Hudson and Paisley both fell asleep in an unconventional way......

And, our Miss P. We finally purchased her 3 year old ornament to hang on her Birthday tree. Each year, we buy something that represents Paisley in the past year. Her very first one was a sock monkey, last year was Dora, and this year....what else but...Tinkerbell!!

Craig and I took the kids to the mall....something we haven't done in a very very long time. Getting groceries, running errands....all something one of us quick runs out to do. But being cooped up gave us an excuse to let the kids play at the mall and get Paisley a new outfit for her 3 year old pictures.

And after playing........my baby girl....became a big girl. We've been talking....but not until the very moment did she decide...........
It was time to get her ears pierced!!!!!
So...she got in the big chair, grabbed the teddy bear and gave us a BIG smile!! She had NO idea what was in store for her. :)
She decided on a BLUE. Yes, a blue pair of flower earrings. I asked several times if she was sure she really wanted blue. Meaning I totally wanted her to pick something that would match more outfits...like white, or pink, or even silver......but....she ended up with blue.
BEFORE....

DURING.....

AND AFTER....
Take a look at your beautiful earrings, Paisley!!!

(Yah, kinda hard to see your new beautiful earrings when your screaming and your eyes are shut!)

A proud Mama! I was also 2 years old when I got my ears pierced. Although...I'll refrain from telling you the story of when I got mine done for fear that a mandated reporter will turn my mom in for child abuse 28 years later. :) (just kidding mom. kind of :) )

And after a few munches on the sucker....she's smiling!!!

And so far, so good, taking care of her earrings. She tells me it hurts each and every time we clean them (3x a day)...but I know it doesn't hurt. I see her twisting them, and playing with them. She's never complained about them otherwise, and sleeps just fine. She was SO excited to tell mema, Kyah, Cams and Jodee (my friend who took her pictures). And boy does she look purdy with her new, blue (sigh) earrings!

Miss Paisley has also been having some behavior problems lately. And actually, it's been bad ever since we told her that there was a baby in my belly. I mean, really though....can you only imagine what she's thinking!!??
Anyway...we made our very first behavior chart. A traffic light. Yellow is a warning, and Red is a time-out, and a toy taken away. So far, she hasn't made it to red...but then again we've only been implementing it for 2 days.
We are working on being kind to Hudson and Madden. She is constantly yelling at them, pushing them, ROLLING OVER them....and taking away any and every toy they have.
Wish us luck! :P
Speaking of Paisley and the new baby. She insists that I have a baby boy in my belly...and that he doesn't have any hair. And....his name is BOYA.
She also has 2 or 6, depending on the day, babies in her belly. Craig asked her how she was going to take care of all those babies and she said, "Dad, I'll just put a gate on my bed!" When he asked her how she was going to hold all the babies she said, "You and mommy can hold some too." And when asked how she would feed them all she said, "With my boob. Are you going to feed your baby with your boob mommy??" Oh, kids. She's too funny!

A cute Picture of H Bomb with a mohawk...

So...for those of you in Western WI.....you understand what I mean when I say, Holy Snow!!! On Saturday, we got over 15 inches of snow!! That meant that the kids and I were snowed in allllllll weekend! Craig made it to work late Friday night....but got stuck twice on his way home. Luckily, my mom followed him home in her truck. But the neighbs had to help Craig and the Impala get home! It took several neighbors, shovels and snow blowers to get him home. Then he spent the next several hours pushing and digging other travelers out of the snow. The kids and I watched from the widow. Hehehe. Today however, he borrowed his parents truck to get to work.....whew!

And last but not least, here is a cute video of Hudson going crazy to the music. When we tell him to go crazy, he does....and he will not stop! We laugh so hard....and then get worried because the poor kid is going to get so dizzy! :)
Have a great week everyone!
