Tiny Dancer

Starting this week with the baby update! 30 weeks! Yes, only 10 weeks to go! Baby is about 15 inches long and weighs about 3 pounds. I'm not sure how this little bugger is laying in me, but she must be pinching something that causes my arms to feel this weird pressure feeling...and then I can't breathe. It's really weird. I've also been having stomach issues again this week. None of the other kids gave me any sickness troubles this late in the pregnancy...but I've been having a hard time enjoying food and more often than not, my stomach is upset. She's been moving a ton, as usual...and I can tell that my body is stretching a preparing for child birth. Such a wonderful feeling. (please tell me you can sense the sarcasm there!) I see my doctor again tomorrow...but I'm sure it will be a quick in and out, as nothing abnormal is going on with me or baby! As I shared last week, the crib is in place and we are pretty much ready for baby to arrive. Well....physically prepared anyway! And excuse the mess and unmade bed...I realized as the blog was ready to post that I hadn't taken any pictures...and quick took a couple. Below is the GIRLS room! I can't wait until there are hand written posters saying, No boys allowed! :) We still have work to do on artwork and wall decorations...but we'll get there...

Now to the original blog post---

Most of this weeks blog is about our tiny little dancer, Miss P! However, we haven't forgotten about our rambunctious bouncing boys either!

(Hudson and Madden eating...mmm)

(Aunt Mary, Uncle Larry and Cousin Joel stopped by for a visit. Lucky for us, Aunt Mary brought her scissors and Hudson and Paisers got a hair cut! Thank you!!)

And now...the star of the week, the dancing queen!

On Thursday, Paisley started a 7 week session of "Dance Buffet" at the Indoor Sports Center. I can't even describe the excitement and joy on her face as she got ready to go! Craig had to work late, so my mom came to help with the boys (thank you!)...I'm sad that Craig missed how happy she was to be at dance class!

They did stretches, a freeze dance game, and learned several new ballet moves and positions. This was the only class parents are allowed to sit in and watch....so until the recital, I won't know what is going on, or how she is doing. Kinda scary...but I totally understand!

A few things I learned about Paisley, watching her in dance class, around other kids her age.

1) She's so tiny! 2) She has no clue what it means to get in a line. She just stood there looking at the teacher like, huh?! 3) She is very friendly. She tried to hold hands with a few of the kids...and the other kids looked at her like she was crazy. 4) She is a good listener--and just looked at the kids who were licking the mirrors (yes, licking the mirrors!) , shouting things out, rolling on the floor, asking for snack, etc. (Not that I will never experience this...but wow, some of those parents had to be really embarrassed about the way their children acted!) and 5) Paisley loves dance!

And I can't express in writing how proud I was of Miss Paisley Rian! I almost cried several times throughout the 50 minute class. I know things could change...but to see her love dance like I love dance makes me sooo happy!

Love,

The Bergs
