Some Sundays I sit down to write the blog and wonder if I have anything to say. Will people even want to read this? Is our family
that interesting? Then I realize, you are probably reading this because you are our family and friends, and it really doesn't matter, right? You likely just want to see some pictures of the kids! So...that is what I give you...

Everleigh had her 1 month check up last week. She weighed in at 9 pounds 9 ounces, in the 56th percentile! She is 21.26 inches, the 54th percentile. By far the largest of the kids thus far! She is growing well and healthy! We did address the acid reflux and Everleigh is now on Ranidadine (Madden was on this too). She's projectile vomiting only once or twice a day now, so we have seen some improvement. She still has some fussy times and has to be moving, but that's nothing new. Look how cute she is snuggling in her daddy's arms....
The best news....on Saturday, July 23rd, soon after we woke up, Everleigh smiled at her mama!! You know, the real smile. The one where you finally know that it's not just gas and that they see you...and smile. It was simply amazing. It's my last first smile. So I'm trying to soak up every second. I haven't captured it on camera yet, but I'm trying!
But with the quiet and happy times also comes a lot of this....

Everleigh has a very strong head and tolerates tummy time fairly well. She is still keeping us up until about midnight (this should be fun when Craig goes to work next week, and me the following!)...and sometimes sleeps a 4 hour stretch which is awesome! Otherwise, she's up about every two hours to eat.
Friday, we had a play date with my friend Brianna and her kiddos, Avaya and Graeden. Graeden is just one month younger than the boys, so we were nervous to basically have triplets running around. AH, it was no biggy. With that many kids, it doesn't seen to matter. However, I'm not sure Bri and I ever got to start and finish a conversation the entire time!

Paisley has really been into "jumping into the pool". We have to watch her dive about a million times a day. Luckily, she really does start swimming lessons tomorrow, so maybe she'll give up the pretend pool for a while.

A visit from Aunt Mary and family gave way for a switch-a-roo. Instead of Mary doing our hair, Paisley did hers! And wow was it ever beautiful when she was done. Although it would have been a good laugh, we didn't take any "after" pictures!

Paisley went to the dermatologist last week for a flare up of her bad skin. She now has a skin regiment of: prescription cream 2x per day on her face for 3 months, a different prescription medication on her "bad" areas 2x per day for 3 weeks and then Cera Ve lotion on her entire body 2x per day. OKAY. I am lucky if the child gets dressed before noon!! But, the poor thing complains of her skin hurting so much, so we have to do it! He also said no pools--- which realistically just isn't going to happen, like I said, she starts lessons this week. But, he did give us some tips to help, so I hope she can handle the chlorine for the next two weeks. I sure hope she outgrows this yucky atopic dermatitis!!
Today we celebrated cousin Cody's 4th Birthday!! It was beautiful weather and we all had a spidey good time!

(Classic look from Hudson. He always has his mouth hanging open!)

(Madden and Auntie Melissa doing "this little piggy")

(Cody taking Paisley for a ride on his tractor!)

(And the beautiful, Miss Everleigh Calla) ....who got held and loved up by grandmas and aunts all day!
This week we have lots going on. Craig is having surgery...nope, not that kind (yet!) :) ...sinus surgery. We have swimming lessons, dentist appointments, my work's annual fundraiser (which means a babysitter for all the kids. gulp.), doctors appointments---whew. And it's Craig's last week off. Time goes too fast.
Enjoy your week...
