skating & dancing

While I cook, Madden loves to sit with me and do puzzles. I hope that never ends.

Everleigh on the other hand...she packs up as much crap as absolutely possible, and does her thing. She plays alone a lot, and she just packs stuff up and walks around the house, talking to her babies. It's beyond cute. Tonight, she had a large load. (not a great pic but she would run away if she knew I was trying to take her picture)

This weekend I took the kids to the roller skating rink. It was really fun. Except for the part where I decided that I'd try the old school skates. Yah, in church this morning, I couldn't kneel. You can form your own opinion on what happened on those quad skates. :)
My girl Miss P though, she rocked it.
Everleigh, Madden, Paisley & Hudson, all on their skates. They make me smile.

This is basically where the boys hung out on their skates. And maybe where I should have too.
Everleigh went around the rink once with me, but after my ankles were banged up from her skates, and the DJ announcing, "everybody keep moving, even parents and little ones, keep on moving" I got the hint and encouraged her to play in the play area instead. :)

This week Paisley had her first performance of the season. Her cute lil bros cheering her on.
Paisley continues to love dance and it shows during her performances. She's front, center.

Two blog posts in one night. (scroll down to read the birthday post) That might be a record. You'd think I'd be smarter and do some on another night of the week...but finding time is hard, as you can imagine. But now, the kids are quiet, the blog is done, and I will relax for a minute before bed.
I hope I'm out like a light...or like an airplane? Or like a dancer doing a "T"? Or like a statue? Or like Everleigh Calla. Night.

The amount of babies she has stashed away on her headboard along with her sleeping "pose" makes this picture awesome and has me laughing at 6:44 am lol!

PS Sorry for all my comments, with my health issues lately I've fallen behind on reading and am catching up this morning as Riley is showering & getting ready for school! 😊
