celebrating

This week, we not only celebrated Easter, but a HUGE accomplishment of Miss Paisley. After 5 years of hard work, determination and patience, Paisley Rian has (finally) graduated from speech therapy! We have had wonderful speech and language pathologists working with her, and we are so proud of the progress she has made. If you know Paisley, it might be hard to remember what she sounded like at 2. But just picture a cartoon character's distorted voice, and that's what she sounded like. Today, she sounds like any typical 7 year old.
It seems like yesterday Paisley began therapy with home visits from Miss Michelle.
See a pic of the early days of paisley's speech therapy here.
And now, a successful 1st grader, posing with her amazing therapist, Mrs. T. We are all so happy! Congrats, Miss P!

This weekend we also celebrated a special little girl turning 3. Happy Birthday, Elliot!

Easter eggs, candy and more! A few pictures from our celebration...

Finding baskets on Easter morning is so fun. What's hard is capturing it on camera when they all run in different directions. If only there were four of me.

Off to early morning church service we go!

After church with the cousins...

A highlight of Easter is always the Easter egg hunt at G&G Bergs. Love the starting line up for these clowns.

Whew. Lots of work, and it's done in a flash.
We hope you enjoyed time with your loved ones as much as we did. Holidays help me reflect on how truly thankful I am for wonderful people in our life. It's not always easy, and often quite challenging, but our little Bergie Bunch is quite blessed.
Peace (out),
Brook
