Graduation

I promised the boys that I would go on at least one field trip with them this year. Well, it seemed like every one was during a meeting I really couldn't miss. Thankfully, they had one planned just one day before the last day of school...and I could go. Whew!
I rode the bus with the boys to Carson park for a picnic.
Half way through, Craig and Eveleigh crashed the field trip. And the lucky little three year old who  has never been on a school bus was lucky enough to ride back to the school with us.

The same day as the field trip, Paisley had track and field day. She was on a relay team, and guess what?! Her team took first place. She was so proud of herself. I was so glad Craig was there to watch.

Thursday was the last day of 4K. Hudson and Madden were graduating from preschool. It's crazy how much they've grown in the last year. Their ability to write, make friends, follow directions and their excitement for learning have all increased. It was definitely a bitter sweet day.

It was too sunny out for a 'last day of school' picture.

But their future is so bright, they've gotta wear shades.
Madden is in the front row with light blue shorts on. Hudson is in the back row, third from the right.
 Getting diplomas!

Having four kids so close together is tough...but it's so worth it. I love how excited the girls were for the boys.

Congrats on a great year in 4K, Hudson and Madden!

 Supportive Grandmas....
 Class of 2028. Holy.
The night after graduation, Hudson laid in his bed and bawled and bawled. He just missed 4K and did not want to be done. It broke my heart and melted it all at the same time. He's definitely the child that is slow to warm up, but once he does...change is hard. The transition to Kindergarten will be challenging, but I know he'll love that too.

Kind of like t-ball. Remember how the first practice, he wouldn't participate at all? And now...he loves it!

I wouldn't say Madden loves it...yet. But he does like it. :)

 My goofy girl. XOXO

This weekend we went to my cousin Vanessa's grad party. While we celebrated, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa took the kids for a sweet ride in the gator.
The kids always have fun going up north. I think because the play group equipment is so old that they have stuff that's not traditionally on a playgroup anymore. Like the all-time fav...the merry-go-round.
These little buggers are what make life go 'round.
