Camping. Kind Of.

Everybody, Jump! Jump! The Bergs will make ya, Jump! Jump!
I didn't take many pictures over the last couple of weeks. My bad.
I did however, get pampered on my birthday by my favorites. Cheers to ice cream and being another year older.
We celebrated our friend Addison's birthday too! Paisley and Ella ripped up the rink...

The twins trailed slowly behind.

We skipped out on our annual camping trip to Warrens this year for two reasons. The main reason? Me. I just got off of crutches two weeks ago. So, to tent camp this close to knee surgery was just out of the question. Craig likes to tell me I ruined summer. I pretty much did. Reason two? We are saving every penny we can for the upcoming Disney vacay.
So...we promised the kids they could still "camp".
Craig set up the tent for the kids in the back yard, got some firewood, smores, and we were all set to camp.

But then the forecast said rain. Which we could handle. Oh, by 'we', I totally mean Craig and the kids. I was so sleeping in my bed. But then it said high winds, storms and hail.
So...camping had to get moved into our sunroom. I'm thinking it just wasn't meant to be this year.

The kiddos updated some canvases that they painted a couple of years ago to hang in their rooms.

And that's it. Not too much to report this week.
I can say that Paisley is doing really well. She's really only had one time in the last two weeks in which I've been a little worried--and it was after she was rollerblading and running all over the skating rink. If you notice in the tent picture, her face is pretty red. I noticed that it was red with white splotches on it...so she just rested for a bit and she seemed to be just fine. Other than that, no asthma issues. Whew! We see the asthma doctor to update her action plan this week, so that will be good.

Otherwise, we are gearing up for the start of school. The big three start in just a week, and Everleigh the week after. Big stuff.
To be honest, I'm ready for them to have space from each other. The fighting is getting unbearable between Paisley and Madden. But I'm not ready for them to be back to the craziness that school nights bring either.

XOXO,
Mama B
