December Fun

December not only means the Christmas tree is up, but so is Paisley's birthday tree. Her ornament this year? None other than Mickey.

Decorating the tree with the kid's ornaments...

 ...and the big, real tree

The other day I had to look something up on our blog. Then I started reading and reading and reading. I read about how crazy the twins were and how much they were into. Now, the craziness is just bigger and louder. Boys.

This weekend was Paisley's very first dance competition. She was beyond excited. So was her mom.
Before Paisley had her team performance, we watched Makyah do her solo. She did so well. Tears were streaming down my face. I'm so proud of her and I love watching her dance!
The "Pink" Competition team did a great job. Paisley was proud of her own performance and said it was "super fun"!
She's in the front row on the right.
Smile, check. Perfectly pointed toe, check.

This next picture exudes what dance is for Miss P.

After all of that fun, more fun came when Danz Kraze Pink was awarded 2nd place. The girls were so happy to get their very first trophy.

It was a great weekend full of dance. The good news is that we'll be doing it all over again next weekend. She has another competition--this time one where we have to travel quite far and stay in a hotel. I'm pretty sure staying in a hotel with me is what Paisley's most exited about. :)

When Paisley was done performing, Craig and the littles went to a cool playground in the town she performed in. It looks pretty fun. And can you believe they are at a playground in December?!

 Can you spot them?

As soon as we got home from the competition, we changed and headed out to a local winter parade. It's crazy how mild winter has been so far.
Tonight, we ended our night with hockey.
Hudson still won't give up the trainer. I think he would  be just fine, but he doesn't want to fall or look stupid around the other kids. (even though kids are falling left and right) He's got such natural talent for sports, but he isn't willing to put himself out there. In due time, I guess.

Madden (in general) is more willing to take risks. He got rid of this trainer tonight and did pretty well!
