I'd love some ISKREM

It's Sunday. Here I am. Although tonight I'm in an extra big hurry. In the morning, I leave for an out of town work trip for 3 days. I have to pack and get everything ready to go. I've already started to get everything in order for Craig and my mom who will be here with the kids...

But I still have to get myself ready! So...our week...quickly...

Two cuties rockin out. One on the electric and one on the acoustic. At the same time. Music to my ears, right?!

This week I surprised Paisley at school and ate lunch with her. She was really excited to eat with me at school. I was able to meet lots of her friends, and see how fast she eats her lunch in a race to get a paw stamp on her hand. We asked her boyfriend Nicholas to take our picture. :)

Our whole family also attended the school's Harvest dance. The gym was unbelievably loud with what seamed like 500 kids, all of whom where screaming. Literally, kids were just running in circles screaming. It was awful...and I'm even used to that! But, Paisley had fun running around (no screaming for her!) and hanging with Emma and Hailee. So...here is a sneak peek at Paiser's costume, along with her friend Hailee.

Halloween is almost here. It's my second favorite holiday. I love carving pumpkins and going trick or treating! I heard it's suppose to rain on Halloween this year--I sure hope not. This weekend was beautiful, so we took advantage by carving pumpkins and playing outside!

For the first time, Paisley carved her pumpkin without any help. She drew her face, and cut it out. For a first timer, she did great!

Paisley: "Scary Jack-o-Lantern Face"
Hudson: "Leonardo" (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle)
Madden: "Minion" (Despicable Me)
Everleigh: "A baby"

She looks happy, but the poor thing was chewing up some Tylenol. Terrible coughs and runny noses flying through this household. The only safe one so far has been Craig.

Riding bike...

Playing in the leaves.

Showing off.

Looking cute, as always.

Doing the work. That's what kids are for, right?!

Swingin'

It's so cool that Paisley's really in to learning to read and write. Except when you are able to speak in code to your husband and your children have no idea what you are saying. I probably spell half of what I say these days. But soon...very soon, those days are over. I mean....I'll have to start texting Craig the things I don't want the kids to hear. :)
Every day, we find approximately 527 pieces of paper laying around the house with writing on them. Now, I get it...I'm a huge list maker/doodler. But I don't treasure and gift each one to someone. She's so darn proud of each and every word, that's for sure.
Sometimes she asks me how to spell certain words, and sometimes she just writes all on her own.

I guess Craig and I are still in the clear for, "When the K-I-D-S go to B-E-D, do you want to have some I-C-E C-R-E-A-M?" She's close (as you can see below)...but we've got a few weeks at least. :)
Okay...off to pack. I know everything will be just fine. Yep. It will be. It will be just fine. Oh, did I already say that? A huge thanks to my mom for coming over SUPER early in the am each day to get the kids to school and daycare! We seriously couldn't do it without you!

Have a safe and fun Halloween...
I'll be back next week with pictures of the kiddos hopped up on candy!
