Not a whole lot to say

We had conferences for Paisley this week. The little diva had nothing but wonderful compliments from her teacher. She's working ahead of the class on writing and is beginning to read. She's a good friend, a good listener and follows directions. We just have to work on some sounds of letters, otherwise, she's meeting many of the end of the year goals already. We are very proud of Miss P. Very.

One morning, Paisley was getting herself dolled up. For what, I'm not sure. But she was applying her own makeup and doing her own nails.

 

 

And the wee little one was watching closely, because soon enough, we found her like this.

 

I said, "(gasp) Everleigh! Did you get in to your sister's makeup?!" And then we giggled. Paisley said, "At least I taught her how to do it right! (dead serious)

Yup, Paisley--good thing!

 

I was a super bad blogging mom this week. I hardly took any pictures. The kids have been run down with a barking cough and running nose. We really didn't do a whole lot. I contemplated not even doing a post this week because life's been pretty boring dull calm standard around here.

 

We colored a lot. Like, a lot, a lot. We did play doh, the kids played dress up and we colored some more.

Oh, and Paisley went to her first play date with a friend from school. I didn't get a picture, #1, because I dropped her at the friend's house in the rain, and #2, I don't really know this mom very well and she might think I'm a crazy lady. Which, I kind of am, but let's fool her for a bit, you know. Nonetheless, Paisley had a great time at her friends for the afternoon.

No thanks, Hudders. This was the best he'd give me. But the truth is, he's feeling pretty crappy so I don't blame him.

(they are seriously like triplets. Which explains the insanity here most days.)
