La La La La, La La La La, PAISLEY'S WORLD

This week's blog could be titled "Revenge of the clothes part two", but I'd rather not bore you all with the same title. But you can all assume that Paisley is still having huge tantrums over wearing clothes...or any pajamas that don't have monkey's on them. It's only a phase, it's only a phase. I will be calm this week. I will be calm this week.

Anyway....
Besides Miss P's strong willed personality (to put it nicely)...she's been really working on her vocabulary. She tries to repeat everything, and is doing a nice job of putting two and three words together. She also loves to sing!! Right now her favorites are, "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Wheels on the Bus".

With the weather a bit warmer than usual, Craig has been doing lots of yard work...and has put up the Christmas lights. (no, we haven't turned them on yet). Thankfully...after hanging for dear life off of the steep peak of our roof, Craig is safe and our lights are up. Paisley was a great help. :)

One night we had dessert...mmm...Paisley's first dilly bar. She loved it.

So, as time gets closer, I am getting more nervous about these babies coming early. This weekend my mom came over to help me tape and paint stripes in the boys' room. Not just regular stripes though. Because, I mean, let's get real...when can I just do something easy or typical? Yah, never. And thankfully my mom is the same way so she puts up with my creative ideas. With hours of taping, we still can't figure out the angles of some of the stripes...so we'll keep working at it and hopefully get the rest of it painted this week. Paisley did a lot of taping herself!!
This weekend Craig and Paisers spent some QT together while I had a pedicure, dinner and drinks (sparkling grape juice for me) with some friends. Every year for widows weekend we get together. Let's just say this year I felt much better the next day! While I was out, Paisley and Dad watched an Elmo movie on the floor in blankets. So sweet!

(P got fun some fun bath colors for Halloween!)

I'd also like to say Congrats to my sister, Heather...as she welcomed baby Jacob Todd (finally) on the 18th. Because of H1N1, she couldn't have visitors, so we are anxious to meet Jake!!
Twin Update: 27 Weeks
This week the babies measure about 14 inches each and are about the size of a head of cauliflower. They are sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing their eyes and maybe even sucking their thumbs. The past week I have felt pretty good, and once again the babies are moving like crazy. I love watching my stomach move and jump around! We have an appointment and another ultra sound this week. And I take the dreaded gestational diabetes test. Ewww. I only pray that if I do have it, I won't get the results before Thursday...how sad would that be if I couldn't have any stuffing...or any of the good Thanksgiving grub!
(26 Weeks. I'm not sure how far along Miss Paisley Rian is...but she is feeling her babies too.)
Anyway, have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have SO much to be thankful for. Words cannot express how truly blessed we are!
Love,
Brook, Craig, Paisley, Oscar, _____ and _____. Nope, we aren't sharing the names. We are really close to having them set in stone. I hope. :)
