We're ready, boys!

This week Craig and I had a little date night planned. Most of all, Grandma Brenda wanted Paisers for a night. But then, I got sick. :( So...Grandma still took Paisley, and Craig and I relaxed at home and played the Wii and board games. The next day, Craig went to get Paisley and they helped Grandma remove snow.

Paisley has been really into emotions lately. She notices when we are sad, mad, happy, etc and tells us, "Daddy mad", "Paisley happy". She makes lots of faces...happy, mad, mean, sad and below is her "scared" face. It looks a bit more like surprised, but believe me, she's scared! :)

Oh, this week we also took Paisley to her first basketball game. The alumni dancers were performing, so I really wanted to watch them, and the current dance team too. Paisers got some popcorn and watched the game. Actually...she climbed up and down the bleachers, clapped, did the "traveling" motion, and Craig and I were so worn out from trying to make her sit that we happily headed home after half time!

Today we celebrated our niece, Payton's baptism! Craig and I, along with Payton's other aunt and uncle are very blessed to be her God parents! She did wonderful during the ceremony, and didn't make a peep while the holy water was poured upon her. We just know wonderful things are ahead for Miss Payton Micayla!!

(Craig, P, Brook, Sabrina, Payton, Randy, Cody, Jamie & Brent)

I wanted to get a family picture of the 3 of us...because as we are all aware, our 3 is quickly going to become 5. However, we had a very stubborn little girl on our hands....so we took the picture without her. Well.....sort of. I LOVE how she is peeking around!! So funny!

After the baptism we went back to Randy and Sabrina's for lunch. Paisley helped herself to all of Cody's toys, and had a blast playing with her cousins. She even got a little ride in Cody's baby stroller....in which I am sure she much exceeded the weight limit and I am happy she didn't fall through and that we aren't purchasing Cody a new one! :)

(And playin' with Grandma Bonnie and baby Payton)
Potty Update: Paisley is still telling us when she has to go poop, most of the time. Sometimes we make it in time, sometimes we don't. She typically gets about 1 sticker a day...so we're just going with that. She LOVES getting a sticker, so I'm hoping that motivation sticks around for a while.
Twin Update: 34 weeks--- God help me
UH, YEAH.....for those of you moms....remember what it felt like to be 43 weeks pregnant?? Oh, what? You had your baby before 43 weeks?? Hmmm.... I had a doctors appointment this week, and my uterus measured at 42 1/2 weeks. So this means that my body is acting like it is 2-3 weeks overdue. UGH. No wonder I feel this way. I seriously wish I could say how wonderful this is....but I feel anything but wonderful right now. My appointment went well....again, no signs of labor. No bleeding, no swelling, just a few contractions---which is all great for the babies. However, probably not so good for Craig...he has to listen to me!
Their heartbeats were 144 and 152, so they sounded great! My guess is that they are over 4 pounds each now, but we have an appointment on the 18th and will find out then for sure. On Wednesday, I am technically 34 weeks....which means I will deliver in EC! Yay! I've said this before...but over 1/2 of twins are born by 36 weeks....only 2 weeks away! I think we're ready! We put some finishing touches on the boys rooms this weekend, and bought a wood letter for each of their names! I guess that means we are sure! But that doesn't mean you should ask! :) I am also ready to meet these little guys. I want to hold them and kiss them and introduce them to their amazing big sister!!
So...until they are ready--- I'll continue to work, and wait and wait for their arrival.
Below are two pictures of my belly at 33 weeks. I thought I had better include at least one "real" belly shot, as this blog also doubles as my "scrapbook" for the babies too. Not too pretty....but it's me!

Hope you have a great week everyone. We are anticipating the birth of two new babies from our friends (one is in labor as we speak....sending you pain free hugs, Amy!)...and praying those both go well.
Talk to you next Sunday (unless of course I go into labor before then!)
