Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!! I love Mother's Day...I love being a mom, I love my mom, and I think it's a well deserved day of recognition for all the hard work mom's do! I feel blessed to have such a great mom, and mother in law, and I feel especially blessed because Madden, Hudson and Paisley are the best gift I have (or ever will) received!!

Our big news this week....Paisley is in big girl undies!!! Whoo hoo!!! Saturday was the big day-- and she literally woke up chanting, "undies undies, undies!!" We had a couple of accidents on Saturday, but overall, she did really well!! Today, no accidents!! We're still doing diapers at nap and nighttime, but will hopefully phase that out in the next couple of weeks. She LOVES the attention she gets from going on the big girl potty...and is quite fond of her Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba, Monkey and Flower undies too! Let's hope this week she is still pumped up about it all and that next Sunday I am celebrating a week of no diapers!! (and saving lots of money I might add!)

This week was busy busy as Melissa and I had our annual thrift sale. Each year, Melissa transports tote after tote of clothes to my house to sell (they don't have a thrift-sale-friendly neighborhood). This year, Craig and I actually had stuff to sell. It was hard getting rid of Paisley's clothes, as I always thought I'd have another girl to wear it. Guess not. Anyway, we survived the freezing May weather and did really well at the sale! In fact, I was hoping to get a "before" picture...but since people are seriously crazy, and were knocking on my door 40 minutes before the sale even started!!!!!.......by the time we got the stuff all set up, we had a massive line of people waiting to check out!! So....this is the best shot I could get, many hours into the sale....

Not a whole lot new with the boys...just growing like weeds!! I'm already missing the newborn stage....well.....most of it anyway! :)

For Mother's Day, we went to my mom's for lunch, and Craig's mom's for supper. It was a great day spending time with family!!

The kids, with the help of dad's credit card, got me this awesome necklace!!! I love it!! Thank you, Paisley, Hudson and Madden!!

And... I have to say, I love Birthday's....but being a mom is so much better than getting older. Might be my favorite day of the year now....
