So....the best part of blogs, the pictures, duh!
(This boy-- he will not sit down in his high chair for anything. He can wiggle his little booty right out of the straps and get on to his tray!! Mad Mike, always keeping us on our toes!)
(Because of all of the snow, Craig had to go out our upstairs bedroom window and shovel snow off of the roof! Scary just watching! )
So...Paisley had her very last day of Birth-Three Speech and Language services. Obviously, because she turned 3. Each week, Michelle would come to our home for an hour and do play therapy with Paisley. She really looked forward to her visits each week-- even though she wasn't always cooperative.
They gave Paisley a final speech evaluation, and she scored in the 12th percentile for understandability (if that's even a word). I can understand her well, but most people who don't know her can understand less than 50% of what she says---mostly because her sentences are so long, and she talks so fast....but more importantly because she can't say her D, T or F sounds. Well.....she can say them in isolation, but doesn't use them in sentences.
Anyway, Craig and I have decided to continue with speech services through the school district. So, beginning in 1-2 weeks, we will take Paisers to therapy at a local school twice a week for 1/2 hour.
And then started the Christmas celebrations!!
Amy and Matt stopped over before they headed to St.Louis for Christmas. They spoiled the kids rotten....and Paisley got the most amazing dress up outfit. And....you'll see if over and over and over.....because she begged to wear it at every. single. christmas. function. She is our diva!
(Paisley, Amy and Matt)
(Hudson on top of the gifts while Madden pulls bulbs off and eats them! This is at my mom's, Christmas eve)
(Hudders!!)
(Paisley opening gifts from Grandma Brenda and Grandma Mike-- we missed you Gramp! This "OHH" look is what she did for almost every gift. She would even make a panting sound. Really cute. She was so excited about all of her gifts this year!)
(Mad Mike)
(The twins eating din din at great aunt Mary and great uncle Larry's house- Christmas Eve)
(Paisley and Godmother, Mary showing off their earrings!)
(This kid climbs on everything! )
(See...in the dress again. Opening a Tinkerbell bed tent!)
(Cousin Alexis, Hudson and Paisley)
(Grandma Brenda and Madden)
(Leaving cookies and chocolate milk for Santa, and a carrot for the reindeer)
(And...Christmas morning at the Bergs house! And yes, those who know me well know that Santa could not wait to write on that dry erase board!!)
Paisley woke up at about 7:15....we headed downstairs to see if Santa had come. And of course, he had. We then went back up to wake Daddy. She crawled back in bed and said, mom...shhh, I'm tired. Let's go back to sleep!! I was like, huh?? I'm too excited to sleep now! :) Obviously, she didn't actually fall asleep....and when the boys got up about 10 minutes later we headed down and started with stockings!

AND.....as Christmas is very important.....we have even more reason to celebrate!! Paisley's 3rd Birthday!!!!! She was SO excited! She said over and over, "My am 3 now!!!" We can't believe how fast time has gone. Miss Paisley Rian is kind, thoughtful, funny, strong-willed, creative, silly, polite, independent.....and the little girl we love most in this whole wide world! Happy Birthday, Paisley!!

(UGH. Pulling with all of her might.)
(Blowing out her 3 candles on her Tinkerbell cake)
So.....lots to share. Thank you so much to all of you who shared in all of the celebrations with us. We are thankful for your love, support, cheesy potatoes and fellowship. I hope that you all enjoyed time with loved ones and feel at peace with 2010.
Merry Christmas from the Bergs!!!
(And after a few bites of cake....she cried and said she just didn't want to eat it. Like I was forcing her to eat it or something. She's funny. She later told me she just doesn't like the pink sauce on it. )

And...we can't forget #4.....
I am 16 weeks along.....FOUR months already!!! I might have felt the baby move...but am not quite sure if the movement was he/she, or me. I suspect it will be soon either way! I feel like I'm carrying 50 extra pounds already...and toting around the twins isn't easy. But really, have been feeling pretty good!
Merry Christmas from the Bergs!!!
