Oh, Life.

Oh, Life. You never slow down.
I am thankful for kids that keep us insanely busy. I prayed for them for years. This is totally what I wanted. Except I also wanted a full time nanny and a million dollars too.
T-ball practices for the Tin Caps continue. We have our first game tomorrow night...exciting!

Hudson...

Madden, who insisted on the pitcher's helmet...

Alligator, Alligator, eat 'em up, eat 'em up.

And then....Madden walked over to me and said, "Sign me out of T-ball" and he sat like this the rest of the practice. (This is also when I text Craig and let him know how awesome it is to deal with this)
Should be an interesting game tomorrow. :)

I took the three little kids to see Goodnight Moon. (Miss P was at a birthday party) Oh, life. You make it amazing to watch happiness through the eyes of a child.

 Good night, house. Goodnight mouse.
Everleigh was with, I swear. She just didn't want to be photographed.
The boys and the bunny...

Oh...Life is crazy. It's also beautiful. And I couldn't have been more exited to meet this beauty last week. My best friend, Amy welcomed a not-so-little baby girl into the world. Weslie Kate. She's precious. And she has a pretty proud big sissy too.
I was fortunate enough to stay with Amy in the hospital so that Matt could take Elliot home. I snuggled her up, smooched her cheeks, changed her blow out and got very little sleep. It was perfect.
Congrats, Amy, Matt and Elliot! I'm one lucky auntie.

Speaking of life, this guy is livin' it.

Outside play! What else is there to say?

As you know, Craig always imagined himself playing catch with his boys. I'm not so sure his son was wearing bunny ears in his dreams, but whatever.

Paisley had a dance performance at a nursing home last week. Next weekend is her big spring show...like my favorite day of the year. Eeeek.

The girls had to say, "My name is (Paisley) and my favorite skills is (a leg extension). She held that leg extension until the next girl's turn.

And even though Everleigh doesn't want to do dance, she sure was eager to "go to the stage" when everyone was gone to dance with Paisley.
Maybe if I bought her some invisible glasses, she'd dance?

Today was the EC marathon. My SIL and BIL live right on the route. It's a tradition to go bright and early to cheer the runners on. You runners are amazing. All of you.

I've run a time or two in my life. Not fast, not well, and not for long. But I run(ish). But life, oh, life. You don't always follow my plan.
It looks like I definitely won't be running again anytime soon.

While I was out of town for work last week, I had a freak accident. And by accident, I mean I twisted my hips and jumped a tiny bit....and boom. Out went my knee. Like...I can't walk.
So, after x-rays and a doc visit, I get this sweet brace and orders to "rest until your MRI". Uh, okay. I have four kids. And a job. And a house. And laundry. And yah....resting is really, really hard for me to do. He thinks it's possibly my ACL--which I am praying is not the case. I've been down that road before (other knee) and the recovery was terrible!
The worst part? I can't get in for an MRI for nearly two weeks. UGH.
I didn't listen very well this weekend. But I did sit for a while and begin pricing some stuff for our upcoming garage sale. Good times.

Oh, Life. You know how to play fun tricks on this seriously Type A mama.
Either way--this week will be full of T-ball and dance. I can't wait.
XOXO,
Brook
